Been busy the last couple of days, so playing catchup on vids now. You commented that the skyfall was a bit short. I thought the trend was too make shorter crops to make them more resistant to weather and put more into the heads than wasting energy on the stalks... What's the downside of being "too" short?

Thats a nice setup with the baler & rake. My God how things have moved on since my day with a haybob and Massey 20 baler ! I've heard on another channel that flea beetle doesn't like chicken manure in the seedbed ? Any available near you to try on OSR ground ?

Olly how did that Irish soap work for you around the combine after during the winter ….? I live in Ireland and I’ve never seen that soap in any supermarkets …. Great video Olly … yes yields are looking shite but you have to just horse on, easy for me to say can’t imagine the invoices ye guys get on a daily basis between everything diesel, tax , wages a nightmare I’d say…… 1st corn I brought to mill on my own . Location Minch Norton Bagnelstown, Co Carlow , Ireland on a 2650 JD , Q cab but low cab model and gears between your ballsack….😂🤣 then got my hands on the 3050 for the next load …… just an animal back in the day ….. what a sweet tractor to drive back then…… anyway old fart here , 45, grew up in countryside surrounded by farm machinery and plant machinery at the time …. Was servicing JCB 3C’s and 3CX’ s , Volvo 821 dumpers Komatsu PC 300’s and cat track machines when I was 12 …… great memories …… I just love watching all this equipment and the advanced tech in a short time period….. like the local lads using Spere New Holland combines , no cabs , !! Jasus barley was a bastard, lads in the soaring heat with 2 jackets to keep dust and general itchy shit away and a face mask for dust …… 😂😂keep up the good work.
