True, if a player is willing to skip a portion of gameplay, that means that the section wasn't worth playing. Something to think about whenever you play videogames.
CyanCyborg i think that there has to be long slow boring parts because then it makes the end goal that much more satisfying. I would feel like i didnt really do the work if I got 99 agility this way, but running through a rooftop 8000 times will feel very gratifying to be done
A game with such long term goals and variety of stuff to reach them is gonna have something different that every player hates. Personally i dont like quests
《dobber 》 it would be better if jagex player support wasn’t garbage. For a casual player, all the grinding will eventually feel worth it. When your account is stolen or anything similar, it’s usually months or years of progress lost. RS can be a slow game but it’d be hard to admit it’s enjoyable most the time.
It's very addictive actually and I'll sadly admit I miss playing it somedays and want to go back but you can't live your life in a room all day everyday playing rs then going to work then back home and doing this you'll drive yourself insane with no social life it's also crazy to think people make actual bank off this game irl too
@bafitness3925I feel that, in a way, but I feel I should play devil’s advocate and say that it is a game that’s like what.. 22 years old at this point. And it’s an MMO. So, it has to constantly update and change and provide players with new goals to achieve. That’s the only way it has been able to stay alive.
@@jarey6060 If the detection algo averages out 100 spins of the drill it will be literally almost the same number for each turn before averaging. There is little to no difference in turn speed per turn as it would make drilling unstable. The drill would have to stop and restart preferably every turn
I’ve botted NMZ to the point I have 35m points using a randomized autoclicker (flicking rapid heal on 1 hp DH) plus 85 to 95 mage alching and never got banned accounts still goin strong bois
Actually for some reason it doesn't. I think this is because of how a drill works. Essentially every rotation of a drill is inconsistent, because in order for the motor to rotate a brush needs to hit a connector, but usually it doesn't hit it at the exact same time as the last spin. This wouldn't get you banned because anti-botting software's click detection will detect click intervals with the EXACT millisecond. I used a similar thing when I used to play Runescape and because of the inconsistency of drill motors I was only ever detected once of using an autoclicker, but it was because I was using a brand new drill with no wear at all. So if you really want to do this you can, just use an old drill. Brand new ones will get you caught because they are more consistent. Quick edit, because it was the first offense I only got a 24h ban.
"you see I wasn't using software to cheat, I was using mechanical means! Gotcha!" not how that works lol Since they do analysis of your mouse behaviour and this would be exact within a few milliseconds, it's just as detectable as autoclicking the same spot.
gODZILLA That’s why you run the drill through a simple circuit containing an RNG manipulated solenoid which alternates the rotation speeds +/- 0.5 - 1 second every click.
@@g0dzilla_au it's not hard to use a microcontroller to use PWM to vary the voltage across the motor so that the delay is different. 5 minutes worth of work at most. I don't see why he's using a perfectly good drill to do this when he could make something with a 5 v supply
Lmfaooooo bruh I read this comment and was like "eh" but then I remembered what shrooms are actually like and I imagined seeing this vid on them. Shit would have me rolling for sure
It’s quite actually common and very simple it’s a VIDEO GAME and we’re commonly SIMULATING REAL LIFE INSIDE OF A SIMULATION CALLED A VIDEO GAME. Now try to comprehend that on mushrooms haha
Whats wrong with that? Power tools are fun. One is truly a sheltered kid if you havent picked up and used a power tool by the time you're a teen or young adult
@@offspringfan100 when I was 9 I started cutting down whole ass trees using hand axes (my dad didn't trust me with a large chainsaw so he taught me how to do it with a splitting maul). We needed fire for the winter and my dad's old wood splitting party had broken up, so he taught me how to cut down trees, break them apart into smaller pieces, and split the large logs into ones just big enough for the fireplace. When I turned 14 he taught me how to use a drill, table saw, and band saw and how to fix pretty much anything that ran off a motor.
I also did something like that its anti afk i just put a heavy weight on the arrow keys and the camera spins and i will afk FOREVER but this afk agility is a genius invention!
if your new id highly recommend going in blind. Even if your not id only use these sorts of vids as entertainment/ if you get stuck. When I first played I was younger and went into it blind, as a result i enjoyed it so much that realistically if i ever play now, im really just chasing that same feeling through nostalgia. If your playing for the first time, please don’t hurt the experience for yourself. go in blind
I used to do this and only got banned once. Let him know if he wants to do it, do it using an old drill with a lot of wear. The rotations will be inconsistent so that the bot detectors won't sense it. I used an old drill for about a month with no problem, then switched to a brand new drill and the consistency of the brand new drill set off the bot detection. People are saying that it will still detect because your mouse isn't moving but that's not really how bot detection works. They essentially look for how consistent your clicks are, and the closer they get to being exactly one millisecond the more likely you are to set it off. Using a variabled autoclicker (have the each click be greater than or less than one second apart from the last one using some RNG coding) would also trip up the bot detection program, but I still wouldn't rely on that because technology can be a bitch sometimes.
@@itsodysuss5305 that would work too but the last time I had tried to use one of those, I left it running for 30 minutes and periodically checked on it. After a while it had accidentally clicked the X button and closed out of the tab entirely. I have yet to find one where you can program a few select spots you can click.
@@nauticalgaming2256 I use to use one called random auto clicker and you could make multiple custom zones that it would click in, and you could even set randomized time between clicks and what got clicked too
@Donald Trump I did that for hi alchs lol taped a pen and it doesn't get picked up especially when the fans gears get loose and click at different times
I remember reading that these kind of things are still bannable, too lazy to look for the source but I will if you insist. Just warning a fellow scaper!
This is true, I made one before with and eletric motor and gears ⚙ but when I appealed it the reply was " we are very sure with investigation of our jmods that you used 3rd party software " get up to date on your detection software jagex
@@kevinf8731 it's because you had a fixed time that was easily predictable. That's how the detection system triggers is if it sees a too many clicks at the exact same interval or too many in one exact spot.
"This is my Runescape" "He's on that goddamn computer machine all day playing that stupid game! And you think that's okay?" "Agility bot" "Honey it's fine" *licks dry lips* "He's got a goddamn power drill hooked up spinning around pressing the fucking buttons, that is NOT FINE" "I made."
It is bannable, it is no different from an auto clicker from Jagex's perspective. Jagex couldn't care less how the click is happening, but they care about the pattern of clicking, if it deviates from natural clicking patterns. Here, the clicks will be distinct with a fixed period of time for a long period which is a non-natural pattern of clicking and therefore, it is considered a bot
I like how everyone assumes that i'm trying to offend them. Keep calm, just sharing a thought. I couldn't care less. Jagex doesn't even know how to detect something as simple as this so relax
I agree with you that if Jagex actually did flag this account he will definitely get banned because you're right, they have no way to tell whats actually going on. But I also agree that they suck at detecting this stuff. I made an rs3 account like 4 years ago just to see how many 99s I could get with a basic auto clicker and managed all melees, ranged, mage, hp, fletching, herblore, smithing, crafting, cooking, mining, and prayer. Priff made this very easy as well as those portable skilling items people used to set up next to banks.
Youre a smart man. Back in the day I used my little brother for $5 for 5 skill ups. Jfc I was lazy, stupid too for investing so much into a game that would soon kill itself
Not to mention talking about how shit his laptop is, even though the keys light up like xmas lights LMAO Edit: what im saying is 'PC master race' is the silliest argument
@@chrowly9315 I actively play the game with an infernal cape. However, the large majority of the game is exactly what I stand by. Before the recent updates pretending agility, construction, rune crafting, fletching, and all of these things arnt similar to a cookie clicker then that's up to you. It's my opinion and yes I stand by that statement. I am 22 y/o man who has a pokemon as a profile pic and actively plays a mid-evil cookie clicker.
It will detect it. I used an ocilating fan with a pencil taped to it so that it would turn and hit my mouse. I got a temp ban for botting. The fan inconsistently clicked my mouse due to the amount of pressure it required to fully push the button. Still got tagged.
I used to use RS Auto Clicker/Typer from GaryHood back during OG days of Runescape. Would not be surprised if it is still available. Never got caught once or anyone I knew who had used it. I used to use it for selling items on trade channels, and would also use it to auto alch upstairs in the Windmill outside of Fishing Guild. No freaking way I was alching 130k yew longbows myself to 99.
I remember in oblivion you could get a castle and there was this trainer that could never die. I ended up taping the attack button down and got 100 hand to hand, block, one handed
Gamer Tim. Ive been wondering the same, I play NMZ with a wireless mouse to prayer flick but my cursor pretty much never moves, I know im not breaking the rules but it feels like the auto-anti-cheat will incorrectly flag me
This is bannable the system doesn’t care how it is clicked software or mouse pad it goes by patterns so if there is 2.1seconds dot on between every click for like 4 hours the bot detection will pick it up and then the mod will act on it
bryce fretz lol it just goes patterns if it’s the same space between it will pick u up but to be honest your first ban will be 2 days I know people who used auto clickers for years before they was caught
There used to be a glitch in Bloodborne, before they patched it, where if you killed some dogs and then went to a certain part of the map and ran around a table, every time you hit a certain trigger point you'd get a crap ton of souls. To take advantage of this while afk, I jammed a light guitar pick in the ball joint of my joystick to lock it in place and in the perfect position and arc to circle the table repeatedly, went to work, came home 10 hours later and had millions of souls lol I feel like innovations/workarounds/cheats like this are indicators of somebody who'd be great at mechanical engineering.
When I was young, say about 15 years old.. I used to do woodcutting... To get my yew logs, I used to do that, so I can be able to cut magic logs, and then save enough to buy a dragon axe.. So I can do more woodcutting.. I wanted to have 99 woodcutting, so I can wear that cape.. And make people jealous.. Fast forward 16 years later, I still do woodcutting.. My advice to anyone reading this. Keep away from runescape. Run away from it like you would run away from a possessed murderer
I've found a way to bot almost all skills while being undetected. Got 99 fetching 90 herb, 94 mining 95 magic and 82 defence from lvl 1. Haven't been banned in nearly 2 months since start
Bet you feel proud about that. You'll get banned eventually. "Found a way" is usually just temporary until Jagex discovers the script/method you're using and does a ban wave.
