Hi, the plugin showing Nex's range is called 'Radius Markers'. It requires some info to use. Here is how I set it up. NPC ID: 11278 max range 10 magic 10 When she is deflecting melee or soul splitting, she is technically a different NPC. If you want to have radius markers for those phases as well, make two more radius markers with the following NPC IDs: 11281 and 11280.
I know the video is long, but I didn't make it for "Entertainment". I made it because there are a LOT of short "Guides" that only teach basics, and throw people in the room with no knowledge of how to increse their damage and Droprate, so they stuck there dry for THOUSANDS of kc, cuz their droprate is so poor due to them doing minimal damage. So if you want to increase your Droprate, watch the video. If you're looking for Entertainment, well, there are plenty 5-10 minute "Nex Guides" to watch. Best of luck, Get rich, get Nexling!

Just saw you advertise this video at nex an hour ago or so, definitly gonna check it out, im doing half a leech method, got the zaryte valbraces yesterday, but i wanne learn it properly, got 350 ish kc now but never gotten mvp yet. Thx for the guide

Great guide man, can you do a video or explain exactly how you were calculating the drop rates in the beginning? Some people say only damage to Nex increases your drop rate overall while mages/reaver damage only increases your chance at MVP. And then others say that damage to anything in the room (Nex, mages and reavers) counts towards increasing your drop rate overall whether you get MVP or not. Hopefully this makes sense.

MVP adds 10% to your contribution (so if u had 5%, it would become 5.5%. If you had 12%, it would become 13.2%) There is no precise explanation of how the droprate works from Jagex side(only a surface-level explanation, with a lot of details not explained). However, jagex did say that droprate is based on contribution, and we DO know that reavers and mages add to contribution, simply by testing of focusing damaging reavers/mages. Subsequently, since they add to contribution, then they affect droprate, because droprate is based on contribution. Anyone who says droprate is only based on dmg to Nex, is wrong

I guess the only other question I have is how you determine the total damage of the fight to find out your damage percentage contribution? (Nex's full health, all reavers health and mages health) I guess nex's health and mages health are easy cause it's the same every fight but the amount of time Nex's summons reavers and how many reavors are summoned varies per fight. Would love to know your thoughts on this.
There are a few different ways to calculate the damage, but the easiest one is Runelite DPS counter. You can set it up to keep track of all damage dealt by the entire team (Nex+Reavers+Mages damage), and your personal damage. From there, it's just basic math. I’m considering getting a tbow and doing this for a while, but tbow is so expensive rn do you think it’s worth it even if it crashes in a week or two?
Hey man , what's your opinion on speccing with ZCB using venator ring then switching to lightbearer after speccing? Nice guide btw man ! Got torva platebody drop after watching it :) I used to use brews and stuff but the guthix rests with anglerfishes are working for me!
Heyy Congratz, and best of luck on more drops! I don't like it, for a few reasons - it lowers your spec regen, it messes with your attention and timings (resulting in a loss of attacks/failed attacks/failed switches. etc), and it's an extra inventory slot In short, I think the 1% super sweaty, tick perfect players might see an improvement in dps, but for the other 99% of the players, it is likely to result in a loss of dps
@@Venaticore ty but too late, already got zcb 😂👍 my method for 20% mvp rate was acb boss all the times, tbow minions and as many reavers as possible. Nex last 300 hp with t bow.
Basically, whenever you need some health, but don't wanna put your attacks on cooldown by eating anglerfish. This can be in any stage - say u took too much dmg in 2nd phase, and you want to continue shooting nex, so can't eat angler - then just start sipping on guthix rest and keep shooting, as it works like a potion, and doesn't put your attack on cooldown. As I said, this can be done in any phase, and if u want to, u can even bring more Guthix rests (say, 6-8 per trip) and just constantly sip on them between shots, to keep your health at max, all the time
Most likely you just ran into another person doing same thing, but better (or with better gear) - so they were getting mvp's instead of you. In other words, yeah, skill issue xD
@@StickyUtah just a little update I got back to averaging mvp every 2ish kills by zcb specing the minion I was specing nex and by changing that im back to business ty for this gem
