I have the Oster 76 tattoo edition and it doesn't have the oil eyelet ... How do I oil the internal mechanism you mentioned ?? Thanks Larry !!

Are you sure you want to close the blade with it being running. The plastic lever will knock the blade before it fits into the slot. Why not, if necessary, move the blade so its slot line up with lever before slowing it.

Good job !! How about greasing the inside below the metal name plate (gearing etc.). How/how often?

Do not buy this bad clipper Oster 97, when you live in other country or not in USA., because you will found the none of responsibility when the bull shit clipper down, although this bad stuff still under warranty. You will be push to sent this bad stuff to the country that have dealer only, and do nothing. I got this bad stuff from Amazon. The important thing is I use this bull shit stuff less than 20 hours, It out of order.

It is exaggerate quality clipper than advertise, when you use the bad clipper hot in the short time.
