Excellent video. Saved me the cost of repair or possibly a new clipper. My switch was broken and I was able to repair it, but then had trouble getting the clipper back together. I especially liked the tips about the not letting the spring pop out, and your demonstration of what not to do. Yes, that happened to me once or twice before I finally got it to stay together.
I took mine apart to clean it and the blades. This video helped me get it back together and the switch feels right but now I get no power. I have no clue what I did wrong. I've taken it apart 4 times now and re-assembled it with the exact same result of no power. All the parts and the case go together fine. Is there some position of the switch assembly I'm missing when I put the guts back in that I'm missing. Thanks for the great video and instructions anyway.
I'm experiencing the same issue, somehow the copper piece isn't making a good contract so I took mine apart again and took a razor blade and scraped the copper pieces not the mustache looking part but the side that peace makes contract with, it works but sometimes it shuts off then I have to shake it again then it turns on again I might have to buy a new contracter
