i think the obscure "get 1337 combo on a map" achievement is probably there because the big black(original one by blue dragon) has the max combo of 1337
It's a reference to an old meme called "leet speak" where you'd replace certain with letters like "h4x0r" and stuff like that. 1337 was a number that meant awesome or elite. (To be precise 1337 was leet speak for the word "leet" itself and 31337 was "eleet") I'm honestly super surprised people have never heard of 1337 because it was engrained into the internet for me growing up I can't look at the number these days without thinking of it
Pretty sure all maps with 1337 max combo have that specific combo for the exact same reason why the achievement requires it, because much like 69 or 420, it's a meme number, and it has been for at least two decades, so no, I seriously doubt it was based on The Big Black by Blue Dragon. I feel like the achievement has been around for even longer than the map has been a meme.

On the topic of Hard medals tho, in the Hush-Hush medals section the hardest medal would probably be "Is this Real Life?" You have to FC an AR11 OD11 HP11 and over 260BPM Ranked map to get the medal.
So technically, this medal is get a 100% note hit(thank god it wasn't accuracy) on a 10 star map that is 10 star when it was released and stayed that way when it was ranked. What the hell.

Well, the answer is YES! On Jan 14 2022, osu! player Oliri played and FCd Panda Eyes - ILY on the highest difficulty with the highest possible combo string, thus earning the medal.
The second hidden requirment isn't really hidden because "full combo" literally means "the whole combo without any "combo piece" being left behind". The game refers to FC as having no misses and perfect sliders in every aspect of it
badeu can get the medal. If he just watches his replay on his client, i’m pretty sure it’ll just give the award. i’ve seen a ton of people mash 7*s for an fc and just watch their old replay for the medal lol
Is there a leaderboard somewhere for players with the most unlocked medals? I wonder who has the most medals. The highest I know is the player SHK with currently 250 medals unlocked. And here I rest in my 230s medals. Obvously the 7 star and 8 star full FCs are the hardest ones especially in Mania.
Part of the osu! community I have never figured out is why people call every no full miss an FC. Missing a slider end is by definition not a full combo. An FC literally means as put in the video getting "the maximum possible combo". It was already like this when I joined started in 2016. How early in the game's history did the community's definition of "FC" separate from the broader rhythm game community?
It's called "Full Combo" (FC) because the combo isn't broken by a bad or miss. You're probably looking for something called All Perfect, as in "Getting a perfect score on the map"
@@Spoolyghost FC and getting a perfect score are very different things. Not missing a single note or slider end, but getting all 100s is an FC to me, but that isn't a perfect score. Calling SB runs and missed slider ends (which should count the same as a slider tick and break combo) "FC"s is still insane.
goink is not the only player in the osekai discord server i met some other dude u cane ask for him in the osekai discord he also played td and it was on the map ILY +dt
because it's a "rhythm" game but most of the plays set with TD don't follow the rhythm correctly at all and it's just basically that gif of the monkey pressing squares on a tablet with the caption "osu players"
