Yes, the larger tyres do affect the speedo. It's actually about spot-on now, as from the factory they over-read somewhat.

It's approximately 70mm increase on this vehicle as the factory VX wheels are +60mm offset. But the GX 300 comes with +50mm offset wheels, so it's only a 50mm track increase over that version. This means that the new wheels/tyres comply, as the 50mm limit is based on the track of any optional wheels supplied on the vehicle.
