I never get tired of seeing that scene , Crystal chapelle that was an award winning moment right there !!! Wow your ❤ was in that moment!!!

This was the best part of the show and Crystal should have won an award for her part in this scene , after all these years i still love to watch this video!!

I love the wonderful acting by these two. We all acknowledge crystal's great talent,but I don't think enough is said in praise of Jessica. In some ways what she does playing Natalia is particularly difficult. She has to play a character--who unlike Olivia,does not wear her feelings on her sleeve--who is outwardly more emotionally restrained. There is a beautiful subtitie to her performance which can go unappreciated. But anyway,I think they're both great.

jessica is terrific in the gazebo scene of course but this is easily (so far) the best and most profound performance of crystal chappell's career. she so effortlessly hit all the right emotional beats and so easily makes you just *believe* what is happening in a genre where suspending your disbelief is basically a requirement. you're made to feel everything she's going through even if you've never been in love.

This scene never gets old.. *sigh*

When she says “I’ve handle trouble before” with that soft voice I would have melt down…. It was cute and sad cos she still can’t say how she feels abt her directly

I wish Olivia would of let Natalie say what she wanted to say, cause Natalia really wanted to be with Olivia so bad.

Wonderfully put together. If you look closely you can see Natalia shed a tear out of her left eye when Olivia tells her she is in love with her. It's freakin awesome!

It's 2021 pf January..it's only now I discovered this soap series which took off 10+ yrs ago...I found it so captivating...the actors were so good . The story is magnificent...it went straight into my heart... it's story have a lot of similarity in my life...everytime I watch it since the start of 2021 I 😭..I pour my heart out so intensely...but I never get tired of watching the whole story of guidinglight/Otalia especially as in everyday. I started watching Venice too... Crystal Chappelle is a very good actor per we and most of all with a good , kind hearted heart. That's based on the interviews on her and from her colleagues in the industry...Hope I can still watch and catch up to her other series....I have too a heart condition..two stents have been implanted to my heart...I just hope I can find my natalie or rather two in one person--my OTALIA.....

Yeah it did! There simply are no words, well there are words but they don't seem sufficient to describe these two. Makes me thankful for Venice.

What a great soap this was. So sad it came to an end. One of the few that seemed real and not staged like all the others. Great actors too. Wonder what they are all doing now.

I just wish that Natalia could have gotten to talk more in this scene. Olivia kept stopping her and I get it she didn't want her to say anything cause she was getting married but first of all that's what your supposed to do before you get married anyway Is hash things out and get everything out not the table so that you yourself can have an understanding of what you really want because marriage is a huge deal guys. I really wanted to hear what she had to say though man. That made me so mad.

It really is too damn bad that Venice doesn't have an ounce of the heart, soul and beauty of this one scene! I wanted to like Venice and like many, I am desperate for a GREAT show about lesbians and their lives. However, Venice is just horrible. They have a great cast and everything looks pretty, but the storylines are just trite and boring. I loved watching "Otalia" unfold on my beloved GL. It was lovely. At least I have these scenes to watch. :)

A Similar scene happened on the UK Soap Opera Emmerdale 1972-Present where Suzi a Hairdresser tells Zoe Tate who is about to commit herself in a Blessing to her Girlfriend Emma Nightingale that she's in Love with her. Things didn't work out with Emma, she and Suzi got together but they too broke up. Sadly Leah Bracknell who played Zoe Tate from 1989-2005 died last month from Lung Cancer, who was one of the first Lesbian Characters on a UK Soap who also did the first Same Sex Kiss.

If Natalia “hypothetically” did marry frank-we ALL know what woulda happened...these two (Otalia), would be heat’in up the sheets sooner or later...(Break’in all kinds of commandments) They would have fought it; but you can’t fight chemistry like that. So, either way Frank would have gotten his heart broken. Moral of the story: Be honest with yourself, even when you don’t understand what’s happening. Don’t get engaged/make decisions-when your mind and heart are a mess & confused or when your trying to make everyone happy because that’s what you’ve always done. Natalia messed up, she should have said no, right after he proposed. She KNEW after sleeping with him it wasn’t right in her heart and mind. If she did that then, been honest with her self, she could have had more time with Olivia to work things out in her mind. This is what ALWAYS happens to woman when they try to please everyone but themselves; no boundaries... it always leads to more trouble. I understand what happed... I watch this story line a million times, The outcome could be different if she just would have followed her instincts.

They had a similar situation where Zoe Tate A Veteran was about to Marry her Girlfriend Emma in a Blessing before Same Sex Marriages were recognized and on the day Suzi, Zoe's Ex Girlfriend tells her she loves her. Figure out what happened next.

I watch plenty of her in video for several days. I first discover her with the Natalia story (it's been couple of years) and then her relationships with Josh (a week ago). But I couldn't finish it because when I learned she was going to have an affair with Alan, it makes me so angry to the writers than I stopped (before Reva gets kidnapped). With Josh and Olivia couple, if someone had to cheat on the other, it will be Josh with Reva. Olivia always put him first (and before they really started dating, she wanted him to wait to be 100% sure that he doesn't wanted Reva anymore). So it's upset me that Olivia was the bad guy... Just to create drama.

I told UK Soap Fans about Otalia. They loved The Storyline. I asked what would have happened if this were a UK Soap. It would have been "Stopped". They would call Frank, "Frank The Wanker" which means Solo Sex. I would love for Crystal Chappel to guest star on The UK Soap Opera Eastenders and play a Old Friend Of Sharon Mitchell. Also Gus's relationship with Natalia was similar to Buzz's relationship with Nadine. He "Cared" for her but he didn't "Love" her. He told her over and over but she wore him down. Too bad Nola & Bridget Reardon couldn't have talked to Natalia about loving a Man and not being wanted by them.
