I understood the mechanics and sound of this faster than any of the English language videos who just drone on and on about it before playing a single note.
Oh yeah. I think it works on the same principle as the ribbon controller that Bob Moog made for the Beach Boys when they couldn't keep a tune on real Theremin enough to make Good Vibrations sound right. I guess they learned it eventually and used a Theremin in concert, but the original studio recording is on something more like this.
I got one white one Yesterday.... started playing some tunes.....Irritating sound, but yet intriguing and cute. It actually works, but there the is a limitation in the octaves. I f you actually look closely, it is actually a musical note (a half count note). The black version looks more like a musical note than the white one as notes are black in color.
They should give this thing like a voice of a singer and have special editions for it... If i would have the humming voice of idk...michael jackson... or michael buble on there...it would be so fun to jam!
