LOL before you re hydrate your salt cured hook baits just glaz them in the squid liquid first and coat them in bi carbonate of soda.....! trust me!! been doing what your doing for a long time!!!!

@@GaryChapmanUKGardening might be some confusion! I’ve cured/treated baits for years, not with salt though! Not sure what Mark Holmes does

thaumatin b will dissolve fake baits .. tried it melted all of them when used neat.
