We always enjoy coming back to Stockton, CA for the OTB Open presented by MVP. It had everything a touring Pro disc golfer could need. My personal favorite part is that the disc golfers who travel in vehicles all get to stay on site. This brings out more putting games at the putting area and everyone socializes a lot more. The putting green they have set up for us is top notch with enough practice baskets for 7 people. A short walk away is the driving field where you can throw as many drives as you would like. The first tee happens to be my favorite of all time. I love that it has a hang out spot before the rounds. Makes you feel like a celebrity.
Swenson DGC itself is a super enjoyable and score-able course. The weather is always nice here which is such a relief after the bad weather we have dealt with leading up to this event.
The staff and volunteers are lovely at this event. The water dogs are the best! I got back every single disc I through into the water the very next day after throwing it in. So sick.
Andy and the other announcer are great at getting us out there are keeping the vibe high for all of the pros before the event kicks off.
