Joey Moss 28:45 The Questing Beast had both deathtouch and trample and only had to assigned one damage before trampling the rest over to you. Therefore he only had to sacrifice one permanent.

I don't have all the resources to build this deck so I built a 60-card version of it, and I'm still smoking my opponents like crazy! I went from Platinum Tier 4 to Diamond Tier 2 in just a couple of hours. You're awesome, man!!!! EDIT: Dang! From Platinum Tier 4 to Mythic in less than 24 hours!?!?!? This deck is amazing, thanks Bruh!

so with the obliterator and questing beast trade the reason it was only 1 sacrifice was due to the questing beast having deathtouch. deathtouch means dealing 1 damage considers a creature destroyed so your obliterator blocked 5 dmg but was really only dealt 1. sloppy mechanics but yeah.

Deathtouch isn't enough to do that. The opponent gave it trample.

Deathtiuch + Trample made it only 1 dmg to the creature and the rest to the player.

At the 13:00 minute mark your opponent would win if they put the cleave on questing beast.

U run only creatures, so might be valid to try Umori as companion. I would test out few Yorion versions also. Bouncy theme works so well with spark double too. Although, still got 15k gold to farm to get the package.. then i just go with merchant and bolas citadel with this. Not sure if i can use any companions.. unless i somehow splash it to work with Yorion... then the deck might be doing too many things tho. My original idea was to put 4 gyruda, ulamogs, obilators, sparks and merchants with 2-3 bolas citadels and few ramp/ devotion creatures. Can not deny the Thassa and Chupa with this.. maybe the 80 cards would be justified with having so many things that work so well together. Now that i have watched few people play similar theme, i'm no longer sure about the ulamog. That might be whole another type of deck all together - some good land ramp and maybe fires. Or somehow fit drawbridge in the deck, so Ulamog would actually do something on the turn it enters the battlefield. Much testing to be done..

This was a awesome deck I’ve built the one you did in Standard Gyruda Sultai with Haunt of high tower which kicks azz....I keep the assassin trophy a 4 of and thought eraser to remove peoples answers to stopping Gyruda 😎😈💯

i love arena i really do especialy with the quarintne not having stores open but i hate how everyone uses the meta decks in the standerd event me personally ive gotten past the point where it was an issure but man was it an uphill battle. The standered event is supposed to be the easiest way for newer people the get a chance at a or multiple R or MR cards but with so many people meta decking it makes it almost impossible to even get a single win as a new player. especially if you dont want to spend money on the game to get packs and cards that way.

You know Thassa can tap stuff down at end of turn right? I don't know how many times you missed tapping down a relevant blocker at the end of their turn.

Also Joey not sure why you never use your mana efficiently, numerous time you never use thassa ability when you have the mana up and nothing to play, when she was a creature on that last match, tap the pheryxian, then swing with her only (indestructible anyways) so he either sac a creature to defend or take 5. You didn't even need to kill his dude just tap it every turn lol

Think the OP meant as a companion bc of the 80 card pile. Just put 4 Gyruda's in main then mull til you have one. Bonus, opponent would not expect Gyruda then.

This looks like a classic Thursday night dinner....you tossed all the left overs from the last 2 weeks (cough) and mixed in 3 cans of clam chowder and a 1/2 a can of pork n' beans bringing it all to a broil.....no need for plates.... just grab a spork and dig in. Yeah the format is pretty weak at the moment, no contesting those calories.
