Someone used this deck against me earlier, they basically had me and their field was crazy, but instead of scooping I just hung out and watched them go nuts and they deck themselves out. Lol Good things come to those who wait! Lol

I’m a big fan of the mutate mechanic, but I’ve had a couple times where I’ve went overboard mutating Starrix and ended up capture sphere/charmed sleep-ing myself to lose the game lol lesson learned - don’t mutate Starrix if the opponents board is empty

In the game vs the mono black vamps opponent your critters still had summoning sickness. Big pig only gives +2/+2 and vigilance so that's why your damage seemed smaller than expected.

Exactly, Joey was attacking with 3x10 + 2x9 + 4 = 52, opponent was blocking with toughness 3 having 26 life and lifelink 4, so 26 + 3 + 4 - 52 = -19. Simple.

Have made the last mutate deck that you made, I have had a lot of success in running it... in fact I had an EPIC match tonight using it, opponent had me down to 1 point of health, he/she was at 43... in two turn I had beat him... I couldnt believe I over came that big of a life total. Thank you for the deck tech that you put out.

Such a trip i started to build almost the same thing in the morning with wild cards... its going to be a while before I m done making the cards i need, but i milled myself with the great henge hahaha it was a trip to see all those triggers. As always great video:^)

Been playing your other mutate deck and having so much fun, as a thank you, when you mutate the legendary onto starrix maybe put him under? Both 6/6 and if Starrix fetches another copy you wont have 2 on the board so you get to keep...

have you tried boneyard lurker? whenever it mutates return target permanent from graveyard to hand.... makes the deck a lot more resilient and you dont care whar you ditch to pollywog symbiote :)

I beat this deck with dmir flash. Only card gave me any trouble was when sideboard in dino has protection from blue. Then once I removed it game was over.

Ive just built it, well cheaper verison as I used my wild cards to build the fling deck which is bricky for me but when it comes out DAMN its funny. But am I blind, I dont see Agent in the deck list profile? How many do you run?

I just started playing a cycle mutate deck. I might make it just a boros instead of a 3, but technically a 4 color deck. That 1 white mana cycle and get a +1/+1 counter is a good mutare target or the 2/3 first strike that gets +2/0 when you cycle. I don't even use zenith and use combat trick cycling cards. If I got more wild cards I could make more improvements. Also Season of Growth might be a good replacement for the baby Godzilla. A mono green mutate deck might be cool. As for why only so many attacked the guy who didn't scoop. Most of your creatures had summoning sickness. So they couldn't attack. Still you did around 40 damage.

This is surprisingly cheap without the breeding pools lol Time to abuse pre-orders :) Edit: I bought the deck. 55 bucks well spent, I got the new ikoria gain lands instead of the breeding pools (I noticed you mostly played them tapped anyways, because of the mutate abilities.) Thanks for the decklist and gameplay! Helps a lot :)

The title got my attention. I played for many years before leaving MtG behind and only just recently found MtG Arena and started playing again. One thing I have noticed is that people concede too easily. Now, I feel that I am learning alot of the game over again as I am not familiar with the cards and all the new abilities, but...some things don't change. I do not ever concede, even when I am fairly certain that I have lost. One reason is, many times there is a chance however slim that I might pull that one thing in my deck that will break their grip and win it for me. Another, if you concede you don't get the opportunity to possibly learn something more about their deck or yours, that you get by sitting it out. I have had a few people sit back, it seems that they are waiting for/expecting me to concede. I stuck it out, drew what I needed and pulled a surprise win out. Just some thoughts.

Did you go back and figure out why all your other creates didn't attack at the end of that match in the middle? I don't think they were all new like the druids. It's almost as if they were dropped in that one turn but I know some weren't. Weird.

If you deal enough damage, it’ll skip some of the animations to save time, that’s why his health instantly dropped at 20:30 or so.

It didnt instantly drop. It fell from each hit then he gained 2 from his lifelink creature but still ended at -19. Also its never skipped animations when I've dealt a couple hundred damage before.
