I’ve never heard about this man before but judging from the way he talked, I believe there’s hope for Nigeria if we have people like that in key positions. He’s definitely a leader and one that is willing to see the airspace in the country develop.
I am flying AirPeace this summer...the biggest benefit is that it is NONSTOP and that is what AirPeace needs to sell to customers and local authentic food...with superior customer service
What’s wrong with a lil bit patriotism? In Africa not just Nigeria we patronise other peoples stuff too much, time to put patriotism first to wake our people up. Everyone else does
Watching him talk is an inspiration. God bless my boss, Dr. Alex Nwuba. Airpeace has arrived to lay down an epic marker just like Globacom did with per second billing in the telecoms market. May God bless the souls of your sister, nephew and brother inlaw in Jesus name 🙏
Well-spoken, sir. Nigeria should support its own. Whether the Emirates airline or whatever they're called returns to Nigeria or not is really irrelevant. Like the man stated, Nigerians should stop running to this foreign airline. With the Emirates airline not flying to Nigeria, Nigerians were still traveling. How does it even make sense for Nigerians to travel to Dubai and buy made in India products? You are paying more, instead of going directly to buy the items in India. Most likely, you don't have to go through the hassle of applying for the UAE visa when it's easier to get the Indian visa. You can't beg to go to a country, that doesn't appreciate you.
@taharka3897 . I was not directly responding to what the man stated. I am only expressing my take, which l have the rights to and based on my own personal experience. Having lived outside Nigeria for 40 years. In America, you're taught to respect and protect its own. That's why America protects its own interests. Which some Nigerians are not capable of doing. Because some Nigerians suffer from inferiority complex. Maybe you should take a course on Critical Thinking, if it's offered in higher institutions in Nigeria.
@elliotono2341 Brilliant observation sir. absolutely... 💯 Our sovereignty is for us to protect, and no one else will do it for us. Thanks for reminding us to protect Nigeria's own. It's sad that even local comedians keep brandishing dollars in the skits they shoot for fun rather than our local currency, naira. They belittle our currency always. Youngsters who have never even left Abeokuta city to visit Lagos or Calabar or Abuja are dreaming of Paris for holidays...🤣🤣🤣 The elites, in turn, spend all local savings on trips to Dubai and London for holidays. The silent cost of globalization to poorer countries is huge. Thank God for remittances from diaspora citizens. It helps stabilize our currency.
Beautiful delivery from a man who is deeply informed and knowledgeable about the aviation industry. Thank you so much, Mr Alex Nwuba. I look forward to flying Air Peace someday.
He broke nothing down. Pls replay and listen attentively!! You can either believe Allen Onyema who worked directly for this motive or a mediocre analyst looking from the outside.
Very intelligent and brave man, he said it all, support private airlines, he also said its cbn policies that brought dollar rate down, not dangote and air peace as some Nigerians are saying. It's the lower dollar price that's enabling them perform better. Though, the two companies have great impact on Nigerians and the economy, thanks to both of them and other players playing positive roles in our country. Unlike those who are demarketing the country for political and selfish reasons.
Wow awesome conversation and the great man just pinch the right salt to the minds. Flying foreign airlines has brought massive disrespect to Nigerians/Nigeria as whole and the only way to get respect is not by begging but by using your hard earned money to do the right things, they can't disrespect me and my country while also taking my hard earned money, let respect ourselves by patronising our own not because its Nigeria only but for the respect,Economic viability and value you also get for your money too Thanks
Hard earned money or scamming proceeds? I ask because I was scammed by Nigerians and been there too! Really ya'll need to stop with the delusional pride and fight for ya'll rights in your own country...As a Black American I was horrified with Nigeria's infrastructure! Stand up instead of talking....
But what this man is saying is essentially ptice war. There is fare war. Certainly, there is fare war. This is because other airlines are cutting their fare at the behest of Air Peace entrance into the route, Lagos-London route. The analysis of this man is deeply inordinate.
If other airlines are crashing the price of air peace. Those airlines should commence compensating Nigerians flying with them. The amount they are crushing to must be fixed.
Yes, Emirate at its best will employ 10 Nigerians as you claim but have you forgotten that emirate have to refuel in Nigeria whenever they fly into Nigeria from Dubai and also have to pay landing fees whenever they use Nigeria airspace and airports, as well as catering services these generate incomes for people in hospitality. Mr aviation analysts you should know that as well, it is a win-win situation if emirate resusme operations in Nigeria. I'm not that keen about emirate, I have to highlight some of the things you missed out whilst bashing emirate.
No, its not a win-win, emirate will not be returning to Nigeria if Nigeria is not a profitble market to them, who will stand by you when the chips are down, definitely not Emirates, when our people were being killed in S. Africa, Emirate did not provide a plane with the CEO on board to fly them back at no charge, payment for using our air space as well as refuelling is nothing compared to how much these mules are making from us, patronize your own and grow your economy. We can not emphasize that enough.
Emirates is nothing in those aspect you used as example because without emirate Nigeria airport will still be busy and full. The only issue is we will not be able to go to dubai or all that side. But he is right who really cares.
His statement, “there is No price war but Air peace has forced down the fares by 60%”? What a contradiction!! Obviously, First class and business class seats will sell out first as these seats are much fewer than Economy seats. Flight prices have never been these low historically during Easter period and the upcoming Summer. Please don’t bring mediocre analyst on air. As Nigerians, We should celebrate ourselves when we are progressive and patriotic. Why do we always sell ourselves short just because we cannot see good deeds coming out of Nigeria
No bigotry intended, Igbos has been the light in the dark days of this fraudulent enterprise called Nigeria. Like the they say, go to court if you disagree with me 😂😂😂😂😂
Court is not indepedent in the West...its a fallacy. The courts liaise with Govt and our Judges are voted in and they need them for emergency judgments or for warrants.
I think Allen Onyema over did the patriotism. Maybe as first time he is flying and wants to get get passengers but that was a risk. He would have gone just a bit low and not more than half lower
It's not his first time flying. He has flown to China, India, UAE. The man is patriotic so it's only normal he preaches patriotism. When Nigerians got stranded in South Africa, Ukraine, Sudan etc and your govt didn't care, he went there at huge loss to his company just because of patriotism. Also He fixed his fares as low as he did because of patriotism when he could easily have formed a clique with the foreign airlines and charge slightly less.
@@chinedujosephezengige5721It will not be easy for Airpeace, given the lower cost of borrowing of those foreign airlines and concessionary support from their home governments
We have to support our own na people like this dey cause problem for air peace and nigerian carrier.they have saved the naira oyema and dangote.who bi dis unpatriotic man?
He’s either not fully informed, or doesnt’ understand the economics of the pricing strategies, or he’s subtly trying to undermine air peace. The only reasons airlines brought down their prices by over 60% is the emergence of Air peace. And their pricing strategies (See KLM) are predatory, and intended to disadvantage air peace. Otherwise why reduce your prices by 60% when the currency only appreciated by 30%? Why charge fairs below your cost? Why didn’t they reduce these prices before Air peace came into the market? He needs to get the full facts, or stay in his lane and tell the interviewer he doesn’t know anything about pricing or understand how business is done. Don’t come here and contradict yourself against the simple self-evident facts. You end up looking like a fool, or disingenuous at best.
What nonsense did he talk? The hate and bitterness in your statement is very obvious and the earlier you remove such from your system the better you will feel because those you are hating may have very little idea you are doing so because they operate at a much higher level. Please be nice to yourself!
