I heard this song on a repeat of NCIS, so I looked it up. I should have know it was Otis Redding. When my sister and I were pre teens we loved his "Sitting of the dock of the bay" and much more. this is a gift to us, hearing it, for me, the first time. thank you Otis.

Half past 4 in the morning....... somewhere up north in The Netherlands, it is raining outside and I feel like this song is somehow painting this moment in time..... Wow, what a trip down Memory Lane this is. The love of my life is sleeping already, and I see how innocent he looks when he is asleep and I feel how much I love him. Wait, is that a tear in my eye? Oh no, it is just some smoke of my cigaret ;) Did I love Otis Redding, he will always be one of The greatest singer/songwriters ever walked this planet........

I don't know how on earth I have never heard of Otis Redding OR this song up until now. As a lover of soul music and Motown, I really don't know how I overlooked this man. What a great voice! A talent that we rarely see these days, in fact, we don't see this sort of talent anymore. Whatever happened to people with great voices, people singing from their hearts without the aid of auto tune. It makes no sense whatsoever to pretend you can sing when you can't. Not only are they deceiving everyone, but most of all, they're deceiving themselves. It's really sad what these so called singers of today have done to the music industry. They have practically murdered it. I feel sorry for young people, they think that the person standing on a stage, banging his or her head into thin air, half naked, screaming into a microphone, jumping up and down like a madman is music. I'll keep listening to my old records and tapes and coming to RU-vid to listen to great music of "days gone by".

A very dramatic intense film. Juliette Binosche and Jeremy Irons are perfect. This story is a dangerous love's obsession. I find terrible that the father stoles the future to his son for an insane passion. It's understandable but very sad. Thank you for post it.
