Otogi - Myth of Demons (Souls) Review 

Yeah! I reckon it's the perfect amount of weird and fascinating, and only a handful of things would have to be redone to straighten out the jank

I don't have played a lot of games in this category. But I like to learn from them and try my luck from time to time. For a recommandation it's hard to say...To stay on action games from this gen, even if they are not realy obscur, I realy like : - Armored Core (From Software) - Berserk PS2 ( English version of the game should be avaible on emulation) - Dark Cloud Thanks to your videos, my next game might be a bit more original. 😊

There are a lot of things wrong with this review and it certainly no longer meets my personal standard of coverage. I do remember using the upgrades and repairs system but I don't remember much about it today. I also barely experimented with the magic system and never made much effort to engage with the bosses as they were designed. If possible, I chose to cheese them with jump heavy attack far before I even attempted to play by the rules. It is an interesting game and I still do plan to look at the sequel in the future, as well as some of the other strange games from From Soft's back catalogue. Thanks for the comment! @@MEDYuzu Pleasure, I know how hard it is for review channels early on trying to get any sort of traction, but you're on the right track with the thumbnails, just some editing refinements. I'd say you'd do well to make a video looking at both games titled like "FromSoftware's forgotten mythical duology" or something

A redo on some of these early videos wouldn't be such a bad idea

I also have many trade in regrets haha And I do feel like I should have another go at Otogi, I don't think I really have it the patience it deserved and I had a bad time because of that

@@MEDYuzu The mistake was buying the game in the first place lol. Hated Otogi but have been addicted to the Souls games for almost a decade.

@@6maniac6metal6 Yeeaaaaahhhh, but it'd be worth more now than when you traded it

I still intend to try Otogi 2, I can see a lot of ways to tighten the fist game up and make it more fun for sure

@@MEDYuzu it has more characters to play with and more brighter I suppose. The fact that environmental can be damage is like how souls game break in game objects around them

I noticed! Very strange for Xbox to pick this game, but I guess they wanted to absorb some Elden Ring hype lol Hopefully people enjoy it more than I did!
