Does the new Canadian 🇨🇦 bill include following? - limiting the number of diplomatic and consular officials (spies) allowed in Canada, - closing down the Toronto and Vancouver consulates, *- creating a foreign agent registry making foreign interference a crime,* - closing down Beijing’s “police stations," - canceling "sister city" programs with China, - closing down all Confucius institutes, - Banning United Front Work and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office operatives *from entry to Canada.*

Trudeau just has to get Chinese approval first.

Amazingly, the Liberals wrote these bills over the weekend. They only found out they lost the inquiry late last week, and now we have the Bills the opposition parties have been asking for 2 years. So, just how long have they had these bills seating in the wait, and would they have introduced them if they won the inquiry???

As a Russian, I'm appalled to see this. I hope Canada doesn't go our way, where the criteria for getting on this registry progressively became broader and broader, to the point where some bureaucrats can declare anyone they want a foreign agent, and at the same time restrictions became absurd too: "foreign agents" must put a huge disclaimer in all media they produce (even like personal social media), they can't teach at schools and universities, hold elected positions, and I already stopped keeping track of what else. Georgia is passing a similar law right now, and people massively protest it on the streets. PS just to be clear, I'm not denying China's or Russia's interference or willingness to interfere, I'm just pointing out that this new tool can be used for oppression if it's amended further without caution.

It would be nice to be protected, it would also be a first.

Keep up the good work, the common sense people think anyone that is not their own race/group is a foriegn interference, however if they actually have the ability to listen and think will understand that this bill safe gaurds people by keep things transparent and fining and holding thoes accountable who dont regardless of what race or group they are.
