What I love most about this channel is how this couple has given over their home completely to recreate a habitat that the otters would have in the wild. They seem like the perfect people to have otters as pets.

まだコタローのサイズの半分位しかないのに物怖じしないでコタローの後を追いかけ回していたハナちゃん。何をするにもコタローの真似をしてましたね。生きた縫いぐるみみたいで、あどけなさと無邪気さといい何とも言えない可愛さに悶絶。こうして残っているビデオは宝物ですね。

@@sokritlun1624 K&H are in that weird gap between domesticated and not. THEY are, more or less, but their species -- the Asian small-clawed otter -- is not. Japan's permitting system that bans importing otters but legalizes the ones already in the country and allows breeding may end up domesticating that population soon enough.

Twins are actually VERY common with this otter species. E.g.: Hana & Komugi, Odashi & Otsuyu, Mayuge & Goma, Cocoä & Aoi, Wasabi & Namida. Aty also has a twin brother out there somewhere.
