This has to be the best carp fishing video I’ve watched in a very long time. I was fully engaged and compelled to watch from the outset. Mike has a unique style and seems like a truly genuine and honest guy, my kind of person and a rarity these days. It’s a no nonsense, no marketing agenda, true reflection of a carping campaign. Superb from start to end ⭐️

Mike - Your videos are a ‘Must Watch’ for so many reasons. But two words best describe your approach to angling. Dedication & temperament. Going that bit further with your constant travelling & baiting up coupled with a relaxed positive attitude when things don’t go as planned are, for me, the main reasons you have the success you do. After all it is a hobby👍

I dont usually comment on videos but this is one of the most enjoyable carp related series I've watched in a long time. A genuine portrayal of a journey that many of us can relate to. A lot of anglers could learn a great deal from your ethics and outlook. I'm glad it all came good for you - thanks for sharing those special ones

What an excellent video. Some great clips, beautiful fish and Mike seems like a really genuine guy. So much time and effort went in but got his reward in the end! I was smiling from ear to ear at the end of the video. Fantastic news that his companion of 15 years is still by his side!

Fantastic campaign Mike and a great watch, the best carp fishing videos I have watched for a long time, enjoyed them so much the first time, i decided to re watch, I'm now wishing i lived back in Bristol and a little closer to the Cotswolds and get the chance to catch one of those awesome gert lush carp..

I know how much dogs mean and the dark times they help us through so I’m so happy it wasn’t cancer I had to send my dog over the rainbow road this year after him being my companion for 19 years and it was so tough but I’m glad yours got the good news you both deserve! Can't beat a Jack as a life companion in the dog world, had two over the years both lived till 18. From births to deaths of loved ones they see and feel the emotions and help you through the tough times, and when their twilight years come we give them the the love and dignity in return. Nice story buddy 👍

One of best angling adventures I've seen for a long time Mike great piece of angling. Reminds me of my campaign to catch a certain carp from a club water in the Colne Valley years ago. 5 years it took me and when it went in the net I did have a tear in my eye.

What a fantastic series. Made me get choked up with your dog and the excitement you had with the special captures. I feel sad the campaign has come to an end but what an amazing journey.
