I’m a recovering addict and my boyfriend has been by my side throughout my whole addiction, recovery, relapses, etc and he always stuck with me even though I’ve caused so much hardships. This song reminds me of him and how grateful I am for him and makes me cry every time. Even though it’s just a Miranda Cosgrove song it still hits so much different with this sound
Do your man a favor and start living, he probably sacrificed more then you know. Addiction is horrible so if you love him for real then just spare the poor fellow more hardship.

This is literally an incredible piece of music. I listened the other night while walking around Brooklyn at night and it put me in a place that not all music does. Come to find out, this is a freaking Miranda Cosgrove cover/remix and I am just shocked. I never would have guessed lol

Thats called the gorillaz effect. You can even look it up lol. IMO, all of the best of the best artists make music that does not slap until about the third or fourth listen. It's like you really need to dissect it with your ears to appreciate it.

The original song is about an egoistic girl who treated a guy like a piece of garbage and then she regrets it because she realize how handsome he is. But this version makes a whole new meaning to the song about a beautiful friendship that went wrong because somehow one betrayed the other, but after all he apologies for his deeds and is forgiven by the offended one which makes the song into 3 minutes of happy ending.

There is so much incredible good about this remix. Every pattern has meaning. The fast, chaotic and emotional drumline. The kid/teenlike vocals sorrow- and remorseful as if the world would end if what should be forgiven there can no longer be dissolved. That sorrowful soul ache that you might only feel once in a lifetime. When your heart is ripped out for the first time. It's all so blatantly noticeable in this song - and I celebrate it so much for that. Incidentally, something that I never felt in the original. Maybe more like Miranda Cosgrove's version. But definitely not like this. A little masterpiece for me!

So glad this exists! My tween/teen self would be so happy haha. I always thought this song was catchy and listened to the original on repeat but 27 year old me cant really get into miranda cosgrove singing this 😅 Tl;dr: This version speaks to my younger self's soul.
