he is just so adorable in this scene... from the not knowing what netflix is to his little rambling before she kisses him.... i have a feeling im gonna love this season
I love how excited he is despite not knowing what Netflix is because it's something he can do while spending time with the girl he loves! Captain Swan forever!!!
I find it so adorable how Hook has no idea what Netflix is-even starts to say no-but is so determined to spend time with Emma that he says yes-eagerly-willing to just go with the flow 'cause it means he gets to be with Emma.
There's a softness to this little kiss that always made me love it above so many other scenes between them. Whenever I think of a "kiss with a promise" this comes to mind. She really does care about Killian, it's just hard for her. Also, I do wonder if Emma is purposely taking advantage of his lack of knowledge of what "'Netflix & chill" means to flirt far more seriously with him than she's ever done before because he won't understand |D She did mention a season later that she loves that he never knows what it is that she's quoting, heh. Killian's puppy dog eyes are so adorable here
Huh ... If you want to have this man being patient you maybe should have considered giving him a little more whats worthy waiting for ... just saying D:
there was a photo circulating instagram when OUAT finished filming that showed a picture of a deleted part of the script of this scene and in that photo Killian had a line that says something like "shall we finish what happened last night" and ppl were freaking out about it😹
Between the curses, separations, miscommunication, Dark Swan arc, & the Underworld, I don't get the impression they took it to that level until S6. Their story actually had quite an old-fashioned courtship, & each season was like another step.
@@EtherealTempest I mean not to mention that Emma didn't live without her parents until season 5 when she got the house Killian picked out for the two of them, but then stuff obviously went down with Emma being the Dark one, Killian dying and the team going to the underworld to rescue him. Didn't leave a lot of room for quiet evenings between the two of them. It's pretty obvious they only did stuff together either at the very end of season 5 or the beginning of season 6. Unless of course they did it in her yellow bug or on Killians ship but I kinda doubt it, since you're right, these two did kinda have an old worldly courtship. I mean Killian didn't even get his ship back until season 4, episode 16. So I guess it's possible they did it sometime after episode 16, because let's face it these two would NOT do it in a tiny little car, but it's of course possible on Killians ship since it's more their speed. But idk, it's kinda hard to imagine, especially since Killian turning into a pure gentleman with Emma in the hopes of showing her he isn't the play boy he used to be. But ig we'll never know for sure. All we know is probably happened sometime either right before season 5 or right in the beginning of season 6.
@@samthelion3925 Yeah, plus Emma didn't have her own place until S6, & Killian was still sleeping on the Jolly Roger. I can understand why people want to believe it happened in the S3 finale; their kiss was just so passionate, tender, & perfect, & by the time they get to S6, they've been through so much. I just don't think we were meant to infer they took it to the next level before then. The pancake scene was a clear indicator their relationship had changed. We can assume they've spent more time together off screen I'm sure, but the writers were very thoughtful fleshing out their relationship, & included all the major milestones for the audience's benefit. They understood witnessing those moments (within reason on a family show) are what shipping is all about. Other ships haven't been nearly as transparent, so it was a real treat to see so much of Captain Swan's development.
