I always love how when Regina says, "you thought we were friends," she didn't say it in a mocking tone like she probably would have in seasons 1-3A and maybe season 3B. She said it like she was touched and genuinely surprised. :)
Ugh I KNOW!!! That two hour episode pissed me off for so many reasons. One being that Regina should have helped find Emma and helped control powers. Such a wasted opportunity.
I thought the same! When Emma's powers became out of control I was like "Yeah, Swan Queen is in the air!!!" and then... well, looks like you know how I felt. At least Regina instisted on the fact that her magic is a part of Emma and she shouldn't get rid of it.
@@emilianaarias9377 Well considering Regina exited the family long before Emma was even born (due to her, you know, killing the King who she was forced to marry in the first place, which would kind of nullify their marriage and all) they actually don't even have that relation.
This scene is up there with one of my favorite scenes between these two. My favorite moment is Lana's delivery of the line "You thought we were friends?" Where she would like to actually be friends with Emma, but until then hasn't thought it was even possible considering everything.
In like how the way Regina says "I don't WANT to kill you" gives it feeling of an unspoken "But I can't promise that I won't" It's still a good moment of character growth for both of them. A very good scene.
I enjoyed this part of the season a lot😁it was really fun to see Emma trying to mollycoddle Regina while Regina was desperately trying to push her away😂It was really fun😂😂😂
Yes it's adorable how Regina calls Emma an idiot, belittles her and says how she ruined her life when Regina was the one to separate her from her family by enacting not the dark curse.😒 I can here the wedding bells now.
+Sombra Sangrienta (SombraSST) How in the hell did Robin use Regina? He's been nothing but helpful to team hero. Also, calling someone an idiot is not something you do to someone you have romantic feelings for. Regina may be upset about Marian and while that's understandable, it does not give her the right to insult someone who is trying to help her. Emma already doesn't have the best self-esteem since she has been in the foster system and because Neal abandoned her, the last thing she needs is a significant other constantly putting her down and belittling her abilities. Also Regina has the gall to say that Emma has "ruined her life" when she did cast the curse that separated Emma from her parents at birth, raped and then murdered someone Emma was close to when she squeezed Graham's heart, and has tried to kill with a sleeping curse at least once. Elsa would be a better option for Emma.
Delanie Faherty Robin was a hero who keeps her promises... until it comes to share bed with Regina one time and then pretend that it never happened. It's adorable who emma calls Regina idiot... and who she reserves the "Miss Swan", for her. it's adorable that Emma is the only one who actually tries to listen to Regina, even when they were enemies. ...etc...etc...
Love both of them! Love their growth within the story. But I was always team Regina.... let's see how develops the second part of season 4! Only two weeks for it! God, the wait has been awful!
Still one of my favorite episodes in all 7 seasons of ouat! Love their friendship but I don't ship them romantically tho, I'm a CaptainSwan fan there but I love their friendship and how they went from bitter enemies to best friends, a relationship I can relate to with my own bitter enemy to best friend story in real life. Love OUAT!!
anyone else notice it's the same musical piece playing in the background during a good few Swan Queen moment? if you don't know what I'm talking about just watch the scene shared between Emma and Regina when Emma tells her it's her job to bring back the happy endings of everyone, including Regina. you'll recognized it used here too. I don't know if it's used between other characters but it warms my shipper heart to hear it like maybe it's intentional. like maybe they're trying to tell us something. #Swengame
What episode did you watch? Emma was the one badgering Regina and refusing to respect her boundaries, her personal space and her privacy. I'd snap at someone like that too. People who don't accept and respect boundaries need to be told off.
@@elisabetta611 Regina also snapped at Emma when she first came to town about being Henry's "mother", but the whole situation started because Henry was the one who sought her out. Emma hadn't even done anything yet and Regina was already on her case.
@@antagonistlover Not really. Regina was the reason Emma spent her childhood in the foster system, tried to kill her parents as well as sexually assaulted and killed one of her previous lovers. The only reason those two are getting along now is because of Henry and that is still a thin line.
Just offhand, how many times has Regina said "Finally something we can agree on" or some variant of such throughout the seasons (especially to Emma but not always)?
I remember first watching this show when it was coming out and never understanding why SwanQueen had such a big fan base. And After rewatching this show now older, wiser, and queer, I totally get it 👍
You are not an idiot Emma. Evilly is. It's no one's fault her bad karma is always gonna come back to ruin her but her own. If she was never evil in first place nothing bad would happen to her in first place. You saved Marian from her so you did nothing wrong. Doesn't matter that it caused Robin to leave Evilly and go back to his wife he belongs with because whatever happens to her because she was the evil one is her own fault for being so weak to start. Doesn't matter it was past. No matter what happens she is going to accept what comes her way because as i keep shouting.....SHE'S EVIL!

I’m pretty sure that’s the problem. Regina knows that it’s karma and it’s driving her insane.She tells Snow later on that she’s basically trying to redeem herself so that she can be happy since that’s how it works fairy tales which is what they are in. So then instead of trying to get rid of Marion she tries to help her. And as for Emma Marion was fated to die and when you mess with fate it tends to mess back which explains the whole Zealina drama so she was being a idiot although you can’t really blame since it would be twisted if she didn’t help her

I hate Emma grovelling to Regina. She doesn't need her forgiveness. She should thank Emma for undoing one of her wrongs. But nothing's good enough for Regina. If she broke a nail she'd blame Emma. Regina thinks it's only her life that gets ruined well she is the ruiner not Emma. If i was Emma i'd just go whatever. Regina is a waste of life force.

Stop being mean to Emma you should be thanking her. She undid one of your wrongs. If she had just left Marian there it would've been wrong. Once you're the evil queen you always have evil in you. She's just upset the entire world doesn't revolve around her. She thinks she's the only one who has ever suffered on the entire planet. But more have suffered worse because of her. She wants to believe she's this poor girl who is always wronged but she isn't she's just a person with real emotional damage. And everyone has to be miserable by it. I can't wait till she goes evil again because than someone can kill her. If i did i wouldn't care what color it makes my heart because no matter what color my heart is i know i'd stay good because unlike her i'm not a lost cause or waste of time. She's the biggest spoiled baby i've ever seen.
I think you missed the entire point. Whether Emma did what she did was saved a life despite that it was and ALWAYS will be the wrong thing to do. Being a hero comes with consequences. Emma meant good intentions yes, but you should never EVER change the past. That is in fact the wrong thing to do. You’re not supposed to, the past is there for a reason. Regina was finally beginning to get her life back on track, she found love. She has what she’s never had. And Emma took that away by being stupid, by making that small mistake. Yes it was small but it came with MASSIVE consequences. Regina reacted in the way ANY human would react, she was broken and hurt. Annoyed that Emma had done something stupid without thinking which she had. Despite trying to be heroic changing the past even if it meant saving a life was in fact the wrong thing to do. But you see the world I’m black and white. You see good as good and evil as evil, because some people genuinely can’t see past their ends of their noses. This also did not age well considering her development and names the good queen, so this aged.. well horrendously.
