Fantastic footage, Roy. In the F.2 race it can be seen also John Surtees. Just 6 days before (10.09.1972) he had raced hist last F.1 GP at Monza. I should make a control in my library but I can not exclude that that of Oulton park was just the last time Surtees drove a racing machine. That year (1972) he won two F.2races (Fuji and Imola) - the last wins in his unrepeatable racing career.
What a staggering and extremely priceless piece of film history this is and it's shocking to look back at the lack of safety measures compared to modern racing, thank goodness for the leadership of drivers like Jackie Stewart for driving improvements.
