This video had a lot of useful information. Researching a lot, and so far the Mega 3 is my 1st choice for the 3600w and 83lb weight. I wish the Mega 2 had a higher wattage then I would be done looking. It would be nice if there was company that made a 50lb or so unit with around 3500watts that had expansion batteries. Thanks for the vids! You gotta new sub...was trying to decide between the Oupes and EcoFlow. My first solar generator and you helped me decide to go with the Oupes. Would you recommend going with the Main Unit/Extra battery OR opting for the Main Unit/2 solar panels package? I will be purchasing primarily for backup power for home. But would like to get the transfer switch so I could go off grid eventually...baby steps :)
I would get the main unit and extra batteries and source cheaper panels from another source. You will find that you can never have too much battery storage. My biggest complaint with the main unit and extra battery is they don’t drain evenly but when the main unit gets down to 0% left the it will pull from the extra battery until that reaches 0% so if you’re a little OCD then that might bother you too!
I reached out to Oupes and they confirmed that they do have a smart home panel in the works as well as a 240v solar generator. I am excited for the release of both of these!
