Russel’s 10 tear is a good buy for $35-$40, I also have been lucky to get both the larceny BP and ECBP for under $60 so I can add those lol

Rarebreed just went up by me. From $47.99 to $49.99. Hard to beat! I also really like the Barrell Foundation bottle at $54.99

My go to is Woodford Reserve Double Oak and rare breed!

Four Roses Small Batch (not the small batch select) is okay, as long as you don't expect too much from it and focus on the flavors it does bring. Eagle Rare, another good example of a bourbon to not expect the world from. It's great at its MSRP of ~$35-45, but it is not worth twice that. Being 90 proof is what hurts it. OF 1920, I don't think I've had yet. Early Times Bonded, I don't have them yet but I was able to source some of the older Brown-Forman black top. Early Times Bonded is not distributed in either Minnesota or Wisconsin, but the newer Sazerac blue metal top is available in Iowa and Illinois. I hope to get some of that soon and do a comparison. I had a Hyvee store pick of Holladay soft red wheat bottled at 122.5 proof. I get way too much heat and cinnamon from it, I was kind of let down. I was hoping it would be somewhat different from the Maker's Mark cask strength that didn't fare so well for me either. Major bummer, but hopefully it's a good pour for others. Knob Creek store picks are typically always a solid buy! If you can find the Reserve 9 year at 120 proof, that is comparably similar. WT Rare Breed, I actually still haven't had this! I've only had WT 101 and Russell's 10. Hehehehe, Old Grand-Dad 114! Heck yeah! Now that is probably the best value bottle on your list! I find it more or less interchangeable with OGD Bonded, some people may find that heretical or blasphemous but they can stuff it! Because I'm spoiled and can get OGD Bonded (1L) for $23 and OGD 114 (750ml)for $21 in my area!

Bought a Still Austin Cask Strength today sipping now, pretty nice.

Love the list but I can’t make a list under 60 but here my list it’s under 70 Jack single barrel barrel proof rye and whiskey Old Forrester 1920 and 1910 Rare Breed Benchmark full proof

Lately Old Forester rye is hitting the spot, especially for its price. OGD 114 and Knob Creek are my favorites under $60 so far.

I'd add Michter's American (I know, technically not a bourbon). WTRB is $65+ in my part of CA *if* you can find it. I always twitch a little when I hear people say "it's everywhere for $50-55 here." Good news is the local Costco carries the OF1920 for $48.99.

Love OGD 114! The man on the label, "OGD", is actually Basil Hayden Sr. When his grandson took over the distillery, he wanted to create something to honor his grandfather. All the grandkids called him "Old Grand Dad", so that is what the grandson named it.

Bardstown Origin Series, Wild Turkey 101, Michters Bourbon

For some reason I get better after effects from 100 proof Old Grand-Dad compared to the 114. I also like the Bernheim Original 90 proof Wheat Whiskey, for $31.

ET BiB is my go to "daily" sipper/mixer Bourbon ($20.95 for the 1L bottle). I also frequently reach for Tin Cup 10. It's under $60. Barely.

I love all the bourbons on this list, but Eagle Rare is my all time favorite. I have a couple of store picks, and I occasionally still find them for retail, which is around $40-$50 in my area. I was able to get two Knob Creek picks back in the day when they were 15 yrs old, and only $45. One of them is still unopened. Great video, love your picks!

I recently found a Sam's Club store pick of the Knob Creek 120 proof for $44....Best deal in bourbon.... It's delicious

For me it's knob creek store picks all day! I have never had a bad one but I have had some really REALLY good ones

Local grocery chain had that Holladay BIB for $24!!! I think someone made a mistake? I made the mistake of not buying every single bottle of it!😢

Sadly I'd have to swap 1920 for 1910 due to price. Have been trying to get new bottles to try but always have OF 100 and 1910 on standby. Haven't had Four Roses in a while, need to grab a bottle this weekend.

Just a heads up, Bevy's (C-470 & Bowles) has a Fireside Hazmat Pick comin' in at 150°! It's not bad, just a bit hot for me. They also have a Peach Street Bourbon Store Pick that I can't reccomend enough, and it's $50.

I would throw in Coopers Craft Barrel Reserve. Have you guys had it? We just recently did a blind and it swept the night!

Ezra Brooks Cast strength $55, WTRB for $55 and for the lower proof enjoyable sips, any of the Basic Michters for $37 in our area all day.

Old Forester 1920 has been a staple in our home for a few years now, but lately we've been feeling the 1910. Year-rounded toasted barrel with notes of marshmallow for $55ish? Who could say no to that!?!

As I was watching this and saw the Rare Breed, I thought to myself, "I really like that one but for the same price I can get two OGD114s and have $5 left in my area"

114 is $21 here in San Diego great stuff and let’s not forget Evan Williams’s Bottle In Bond

My go to bourbon is Ancient Age, $14/ltr. in my area. It's sweet, approachable and does decently in mixed drinks and cocktails.

Eagle Rare would be my go to if I could find it.

I’m definitely on the WT Rare Breed train. Never gets old and always find myself saying “dang that’s so good” in my head while sipping. Also really been enjoying Black Dirt out of New York. It’s like a butterscotch bomb. 🤤

Lately, its been George Remus. and Bowman Bros.

13th Colony at $35 is really good for a low proof, and Rare Breed at $58 for a high proof are both great.

I secured a few store picks of the Jack single barrel barrel proof rye for 55.99 before tax, I’d say for me that’s my best value.

My go to bourbon is old forester 100 proof for a budget and the most impressive I’ve ever tasted has been Penelope French oak and knob creek 12 year

As for me if cost is $50.00 not so nifty! I will not buy it!! There are more than enough great pours under $50.00 Wild Turkey 101, Rebel, Bulleit, Makers Mark just to name a few!

I have noticed Rare Breed is in a 700 ml. Bottle instead of 750ml . Just another way to profiteer! We as a consumer should cut back on price and stop those that are in it for riches and could care about the rest of us!

Quit saying eagle rare is 35 dollars. It’s not.
