Real knowledge and geology is the difference between your channel and others. Some guys go out there and hardly find anything but you look at the surroundings know what you’re looking at and are able to find gold during knowledge of geology. I enjoy watching you guys work.
One thing about your shovel with orange handle. My scoop shovel kept bending back like a cheap spoon handle. I found a iron rebar rod and cut it to length and crammed it into the shaft hole and used weld glue substance to permanently hold its shape. Now the little shovel is iron tight. Also extended out the handle and drilled a hole and put bolt through it and then handle will not slip down when I use it like a cane. At age 70 cannot afford to fall.
@Michael pacNW & @Bj THE CROW I have to agree with you two guys. I haven't caught 911's videos in a long time and all the ones I've seen he was talking but faceless to the camera. His video I just seen now is a nice suprise, I could see him talking to us, and I like the chang he's made. He doesn't have to do it all the time and for every minute of filming, but at least for a bit when he's talking to us in the beginning would be nice. Thank you 911, great videos!
To all we don't mind showing our ugly mugs every now and then 😏 we feel it helps people better connect with us. That being said we think people would much rather see what we are talking about sometimes so we can explain properly, so a balance is good keeps both sides happy. Ideally we would find a giant glittery gold nugget so big you could see our reflection as well as what we are looking at 😁😉
You guys are the best!! Great to see your face at the start. What a nugget!! Congratulations!! I have done a bit of panning in the Okanagan, and was instantly hooked on it! Spent many hours and days enjoying finding a few little flakes. They are such happy memories.
Always enjoy and appreciate your posts. UP has always been my favorite locale! You Justin's o 911 deserve such great results because your work ethic, knowledge and ability to navigate Sketcy regions well. Thanks fellas👍👍👍
2.32g That is my guess and I am sticking to it! I just love that area, I am glad it is so difficult and remote. It is like a special occasion every time you share a video from there! Thank You!
enjoy your youth, I miss the ability to hike all day. Prospecting definitely harder work after Sixty. Thank you for sharing places we can only dream of hiking in the back country. What elevation are you guys working at in the video? Thanks , nice color in the pan!
Looks like a big nugget went out of the pan at 13.21 i watched it five times or more and it looked like a big nugget got out of your pan ? Great finds and great video
A nugget that size has a 0% chance of floating out of the pan. It did look like a nugget but a multigram nugget doesn't just easily float out the top after a lot of shaking. If it had even a small amount of gold it would be right at the bottom.
Awesome spot gorgeous view, sweet gold ,invest in a really good metal detector, your also in diamond or Rubie ,emerald ,review Your video while He's panning huge rock looked like glass but wasn't glass gray clear ,Herkimor diamond deposit near by .thanks For putting a face to your voice .I really appreciate your laid back teaching technique about the different stone structures and composition. GOOD VIDEO I PERSONALLY would love to see you find a life changer nugget softball size even bigger while your exploring all that beautiful outback Gods country.
LOL Hubby and I got gold fever from watching prospecting video's about a year ago. We wasted the money on a panning set and then realized.. we are way too broken to go anywhere where there might be gold worth our going to. and bending or squatting to pan wasn't going to wash, either.. So we sit here in our rocking chairs and do it vicariously, through you guys.. *sigh There's no gold worth the going to find.. in Tennessee, anyway..
Heaseba maybe you can order some paydirt, I’m sure these guys sell samples and I could always get ya some in proven gold territory (I’m on the same island and get good flour and flakes from many places, little nugs on occasion too👍)
@@micsmarvelousmusic8686 We are on a fixed income that barely stretches to cover monthly needs, now. So not something I could justify expenditure of limited resources on.
Whenever i pan, i just take a squat on a rock next to any type of water. *whch isnt always a stream...due to lack of streams around Beijing* *sometimes i'll bring material home and fill up my wash basin..prop it on my bed or floor and have at it*
I imagine it is only a matter of time for you to determine which hillside is feeding all the gold to that creek . Is the deposited localized or can you do well anywhere along that creek? Great video. Enjoy the mobility of your youth as those years pass and we can only do long hikes in our minds. I noticed you said it was about 2 1/2 hour hike back to vehicle . Thanks for sharing .Your job is more like an adventure it seems at times.
Nice place and some nice gold. Can I ask your opinion on something? Have you seen the videos Golden Beard Media are putting out? What's your opinion on them-is it possible to be taking that much gold out the ground in chunks like they are doing?
Nope they are not real there are nuggets that big you woulnt be finding multiple everytime you go prospecting nuggets that size are super rare and the spots they are finding them aren't realistic. Not to mention if you find tens of thousands in gold each trip why wouldn't you be using something better than a $200 metal detector....you would have a hard time discerning gold from iron with that thing. My opinion just reads not real to me. I'm sure a lot of prospectors would agree.
It’s amazing the chunks you guys find, my friends and I have been prospecting the island for years and our best days are lucky to match your worst days;) Keep up the great work! Also wanted to say hey to Justin#2, met him and had a few beers with him last week, was a great time, I mentioned my buddy could make a theme for your opening, tho it looks like ya have one now, maybe we could make an even better one;) Cheers🍻👍
I would kill to go out with you guys 1 time. I have purchased several thousand dollars of gold prospecting equipment and very few times I have found gold. I live in a ok area its just getting lucky and finding the spot. You have awesome videos and adventures.
Could you post that big nugget for auction on eBay for all us losers to bid on? If I had found that, I wouldn’t part with it for nothing!! So, I understand if you aren’t interested. Thanks for posting all these videos!! You guys are the best. Stay safe!!
Have you ever worked around or with gold bearing areas containing a lava cap. I have a claim on a tertiary gravel seam 140’ up from the creek. It’s got one lode claim up and one down from it. I am trying to get into the ancient section the old timers worked but am dealing with a massive lava cap. Both claims produced almost 16k ounces
Fantastic adventure sweet area good lord look the nuggets u got that is a honey hole what else is just laying there waiting for u to reveal awesome guys thank u
2.67 on the nice little nug. Need to get Pauly out there to check out that deeper water below that little waterfall. Place just keeps gettin better and better. Yall need a set of duck hunting waders. Their thermal and great for those cold waters in and out of mine addits.
That big piece looked to be the most weathered piece I have seen you take from there. Looks like it has travelled a bit.I have noticed a lot of your bigger pieces are angular and not really flat. Lots of uploads of the "ultimate placer" recently they must have the gates open for hunting season?
We optioned it a while ago to a bigger company, so we haven't had access, they are based out of Toronto and needed a couple days worth of sampling done, we agreed to do the work in exchange for a week of keeping what we find and doing some filming. We also have gate access temporarily. The company had to partially rebuild a road from errosion.
nice gold dude! I wonder though, has anyone ever found the sources of the placer gold they find? I watch a lot of videos of people finding gold in rivers but no one finding the sources.
So what is the "law" if you happen to be testing land for someone, and pan a stream and find a huge nugget? Do you have to turn it over or can you keep it? Have you ever tried a rice rinser for panning? I know it sounds silly, but they are made in a perfect way to let hardly anything out but will make water slowly creep out bottom I bet those hands are cold after panning. lol Make sure to get some hand warmers:P That water is so clear! very nice
Think I missed the key here due to the big nugget 🤣 I have an area not far from me with heavy mineralised sulphides looks like muscovite schist... will I go back with my pan yeah? 😉🤣 let me know my friend
Right on me too, There is gold within an hour of town. Check out the Mollala River recreation corridor. Great flood gold, hella hard to dig and don't dig past the hard pack, there is nothing deeper. It all just sits in the gravels and on the hard pack layer that act as a false bottom. It's about an hour ne of here. Lewis River, just outside of battleground washington. 45 min drive. Hit up the inside bends along the road starting about 4 miles from Lucia falls. I belong to a claim owners association out of Cottage Grove in central Oregon. That's where I'm doing most of my stuff these days. It's about a 4 hour drive to the claims. And it's worth it!
I waited the whole video to see a monster nugget and it never came. That is a really good looking spot though, perhaps you'll find a monster there eventually. Thanks for sharing the video with us.
