Turn off: pinned construction, so you can’t fully take a knife apart for servicing.

Biggest knife turn offs for me are insufficient lock access and a double clutch on the detent. Such easy fixes that are way too common

Dream multi tool would be Knife blade, Spey blade hell the BM940 blade; No.2 Phillips screwdriver, a file with a tapered pry end, tweezers, and an awl. What I would like to see from GM is more larger folders in there ACE line the Grand is definitely a set in the right direction (got XL to XXL hands so little knives end up not getting carried as much) Keep up the great work guys this series has been awesome so far.👍👍👍

I'm a HUGE GM fan boy! I love all their stuff. I believe the Biblio is an almost perfect edc blade. Size, feel, shape, materials etc all great stuff. As for what I'd like to see from them. Possible a front flipper. Let's say a front flipper in magnacut with burlap linen micarta! Multitool: 1 droppoint blade. Getting crazy but 2.the leatherman raptor shears as the scissors. 3.A pry bar with a very thing tip to help slip under what needs to be pried. 4. Definitely a flashlight with multiple outputs and an SOS. And 5. Some type of pen. As for Jason Statham I could see carrying anything from Borka. Definitely a stitch.

Being informed and opened minded is a wonderful thing but steel snobs and any kind of snob is bad 👎 it's what keeps the prices outrageous cause the companies use that to inflate there prices

E/R/E ... Here we go: more than 2 compound grinds (again, for sharpening, worse than recurves) and poorly-done coatings. No expectations from GM (want 4"+ blades / not their niche). JS as Christmas/Expendables carries a) ESEE Izula 2 neck knife, b) Spartan Harsey Diffensa fixed blade M/W/F or Hinderer Kabar T/T/S, c) Medford USMC Fighter Flipper, d) 4 Cold Steel 80STMB 8" throwing knives, e) 2 Cold Steel 10BCTL 5" boot knives, and f) Hogue tactical pen/impact spike.

“Turn off” when the blade is just short of the handle. I have cut my palm a few times on knives when the blade is a little too long or the handle is too short.

I would love it if giantmouse made the forward finger choil a bit larger on the biblio. Also a budget version of the riv because that choil is perfect. I think Jason Statham would be rocking a monterey bay knives xl ez 2.0 in carbon fiber.

Flipper is my turnoff due to old injury to index finger. My multitool has pliers, diagonal cutters, knife, saw and a cap lifter. Jason Statham will have a GEC #38, UK legal.

For the multi tool I'd probably do pliers, a knife with about the same blade length as the banter, a bit driver, scissors, and a flashlight. And I love my ACE Grand but it almost feels like they could put a flipper tab on it.

Happy Friday, gentlemen! Serrations are a big pass for me, but the biggest is probably assisted openers. I’m just not a fan and I’ve had more than one accidentally open. GM is on my list to buy at some point, I love the vox designs and how identifiable some of the styling cues are. Happy to see some watch love on this episode!! I’m a huge watch nerd, I collect/restore/repair vintage Swiss watches. In fact, the watch drawer is right above the knife drawer in my desk 😂 Fantastic episode, gentlemen. Always appreciate the insight and I’ll see you next week!

I think Jason Statham would be rocking a karambit. Although I imagine he'd be very skilled with a balisong. For the multi tool I'd have to go with pliers, a 940 blade, civivi tweezers, pen and an olight baton pro flashlight. As far as the turn off for a knife, I'm going to have to go with a dagger blade (duel edged). That'll be a hard pass for me. You guy's are killing it with these videos. They just keep on getting better and better. Keep up the awesome work. 🤙

Turn off for knives? A really cool design that I'd love to have but there's no option to swap the clip for LH carry. Adding to that a LH knife that is only tip down. It probably saves me a lot of money as there are knives like Chavez and so on that I really like but other than the TAK they aren't LH friendly. Today's carry was a Jake Hoback Kwaiback, Klarus flashlight and a SS Machine Era classic pen. (Uses that G2 refill) It's hard to think of Statham using something other than the Darrell Ralph AXD that he used the "The Expendables" movie. I guess it was Stallone's personal knife he offered for the scene it was used in.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I don't like sharpening choils. I have never had difficulty sharpening a knife without a sharpening choil, but I always snag stuff on them if they are present.

POCKET CLIP!! If the pocket clip sucks (and no upgrade available) then I’m done with that knife! Also, I agree, any type of serrations at all…no thank you! And I think Stathom would carry a sleek yet tough well made knife….WE UpShot maybe

Turn off for me is an ugly knife. I gotta like how it looks. Multi tool:Pliers, Tweezers, Scissors, Hammer/hard flat pommel, Awl/reamer that locks. Statham: I'd say a Halo, or some kind of fighting fixed blade. Maybe even a karambit
