My wife had our babies at kaiser hospital and with a midwife and nurses team. It was great experience, no rush and took their time thru our delivery and post partum.
In time Scientists will make this possible and it'll become so normal that we wont even remember a time when it wasn't. Luckily for me I'll be dead by then lol
im currently in school to be a nurse and hopefully a labor and delivery nurse. we learned a lot about maternal deaths and hoping i can make an impact on preventing them. love how passionate you guys are about the topic🤍
I love how Case is taking the time to learn with Tiff 🥺 so excited for your guy’s new addition to the family! Also, kind of the same here with the whole doctor situation. I go to an OB (at a hospital) and for me I didn’t really mind because I am not pregnant and only go for a yearly check up. But then I read a review under the hospital that was written two months ago by a woman who is currently pregnant. I felt so bad reading her review because that’s someone who actually needs an OBGYN to deliver her child via c-section but got dropped out of no where. I feel for you and her for such a sudden thing. I hope everything with you guys gets situated!! 🤍
I admire anyone able to endure a natural birth, but I am most definitely not that person. I had an epidural. I didn't feel anything after that and I laughed and cried tears of joy when my son was born.
Ricky Lake’s documentary is dated and inaccurate!!! You should watch mama doctor Jones RU-vid channel. She gives you a detailed breakdown of the statistics surrounding infant and maternal mortality in America versus the rest of the world and gives you a much more accurate picture of the differences and what they mean.
I actually loved that glucose drink at the Dr. Lol. Yes although it is unfortunate the birth center is closing all of a sudden, it is better it happened now instead of closer to birth. You still have plenty of time to find a new and I'm sure you'll find a great one. So excited for you guys. The pregnancy is going by so fast! Tiff you look so beautiful and glowing. Love you guys ❤ also we asked for delayed cord clamping and they didn't respect our requests at the hospital!
There are times that healthcare worker s want you to be at the hospital at the least amount of time as possible to prevent hospital acquired infections, that is when you are admitted. For natural births, be very sure that you have no complications, because OBs are there to intervene especially when something goes wrong.
Ahhhhh I love that you guys are so woke!!! My fav you tubers!! Ahhh I wish you the best 🖤 thanks for educating me I hated hospitals already! Now I hv a better plan for how I wanna decide to do a birth process when it’s my time, thanks a bunch Tiff for that 🖤
Wierd. I felt safer at the hospital. If anything does go wrong they can do a C-section asap! You cant do that at home. I delivered naturally with no pain meds but my hopsital was awesome😁 I knew all the nurses and 5 doctors that do births there. They have a special floor for babies & birth. I went there once a month and at 32wks you go every 2wks.. the last month its once a week. I went into labor at my exact due date without any assistance. Had a 6hrs labor with 1 stitch, no meds, healthy 7.5pounds baby girl. It hurt like a mudder trucker but was the most beautiful thing i ever did💕
Just for the simple fact that they can do an emergency c-section alone is a better option to give birth at the hospital. Not sure why they’re not taking this into account
I think your outlook is great but its also okay to change the birth plan if you feel its too much and you need pain meds or more intervention to help get your baby out. Doesn't make you less of a super mom!
Tiff! I’ve been enjoying your content for so long! I remember you talking about how you felt you didn’t work for Isaac because you had a c-section ( you MOST definitely put in that work are you kidding me?!! 💗) but if the natural birth doesn’t work out don’t feel like it’s negative thing taking epidural
My sister found out that her therapist is leaving at the end of the year and her recent one that she just went to left and didn't even tell her so it seems like there's a lot of places closing down
I honestly liked the glucose drink 😅 Mine was a clear short stubby bottle, it just tasted like hi-c orange but clear. I grew up on that stuff so I didn't mind at all 🤣
I was also a teen mom and can relate when it comes to natural birth. I hope I had given birth to my kids with a midwife instead because hospital atmosphere sometimes can be tough. I remember when grandmother's back in the day would have 9 kids without hospital intervention and were all well. Its remarkable what a women's body is capable of doing during child labor. Hope all goes well with your new birthing center Tiff greetings ✌🏼🗽💜
Hospitals saved my life when I was born and my daughter's. RU-vidrs Trent and Allie would have lost their newborn baby if it wasn't born in a hospital. Hopefully everything turns out well for you and baby. Positive thoughts and prayers. At least you will be close to a NICU just in case.
I hear about women becoming diabetic during pregnancy… I always thought it was just because of the increased food consumption and weight gain 😂 Intersting to finally find out why!
Makes sense re the hospital. Plus Idk how things are in Cali right now, yet in NY mask mandates are going back into effect for all indoor events, and covid numbers are on the rise again, so hospital policies are changing again over what is allowed and what is not. May you have a safe birth of your little blessing. 🙏🕊
Hey guys love your vlogs!!! I dont know if im just sound sensitive back that sound cymbal that everyone once awhile comes up in the background is starting to be noticeable. Does anyone else notice it? I get the timing to use it with dialogue but thought I just mention it!
I birthed at a hospital with a midwife and it was an amazing process. Different hospitals have different policies. I understand that what works for you is different but don’t shit on hospitals because of your preferences.
I loved the hospital I gave birth to both my son and daughter. I never felt I was being rushed. Doctors, nurses, and techs were being very accommodating and caring. I’m very offended she said all hospitals have the same culture 😡
Exactly. It's quite infuriating to watch as one can explore doing midwife + being in a hospital. I am fine whatever her choice is but bad mouthing professionals is not good either incase she actually needed a hospital or OBG/GYN in the delivery time.
Agreed! Not all hospital protocols/experiences/vibes are the same! And certain protocols are put in place for the benefit for mom and baby ESPECIALLY if something goes wrong (e.g. fetal demise, postpartum hemorrhage)
Eat watermelon, my mom eats tons of watermelon when she was pregnant with me, I came out a 12 pound baby and I’m the tallest in my entire whole family line.
