Our Client Bought This Rolex For $3 | Day In The Life 

I had something similar happen to me. I bought a 29mm ladies pearl master at a local pawn shop. I never walked into a pawn shop before, but this was a new store that popped up so I walked in. Saw the pearl master which caught my eye since it was all blinged out. Prices was $1850, I asked them the obvious “is this legit?” He said yes. I had him ask his coworkers to make sure. Total of 3 people said all good boss. I bought it showed my wife and she didn’t like it because it looked to much with the diamonds. I get a call within 30min. Sir please come back to the store we made a mistake. The tag was supposed to say $18500😮. I kept it! Receipt said no returns.

Interesting that you worry more about polishing the $3.00 Rolex and making it shiny instead of opening up and giving it a service. So you don't check the used watches on a machine to test the amplitude and see if they are running right. ? Given that as you put it, a service could cost 5 k, I would think that you would test every watch you take in. ?

I got a tiny wrist too. I feel like with the trends in design- vintage is going to be my only options soon. Lol. It’s a little sad- because I think back on watching Tony Soprano and his 36mm YG champagne day date and I think about how even with his huge masculine wrist -he wore that piece perfectly. In my opinion 36 is perfect size watch for men, and I’ll never wear anything bigger-unless it’s ultra thin.

It would be great to get some episodes showing your service guy or your polish guy doing their thing.
