i mean we do, the person who wrote the clue definitely wasn't thinking properly and that lead to their downfall as just about any losing team of this game can probably tell u. playing this game u need to know how the clue giver thinks if u want to win and not just know things relating to the answers on the board.

@@DeathnoteBB reminds me of the time i said marble 3 for "round" "stone" and "greek" round: for the game of marbles, stone: because marble is a stone, and greek: bc greeks commonly used marble for statues. and my op only guessed "marbles", but didn't know marble was stone... the last one, greeks, i can understand, but stone????? so i then used "eris 3", for greek, chaos, and apple and that was my mistake, bc if he didn't know about greek statues then why would he know about the greek goddess of chaos who used an apple to cause dissent amongst the olympic realm. and in his defence once again, he was more for video games and anime lore than history or art, but i presumed since he knew so much lore, and that greek mythos is common in both, he would know about it because pop culture takes mythos. still tho,,, to this day im mystified on how he didn't know marble was a stone...

I'd be surprised that he disliked history and Mythos when it's basically just "cool lore but it actually affects you" but, well, the education system deciding that Literature and English are the same thing will do that to you.

And at the end of every episode...

I love the game we got to see of Kevin and RT being a team (I didn't watch the stream) because they both think very close to the clue they give, while the other two think ultra complicated (but in different ways) and it was so fun to see them vibe so well and win. It was so funny and I was (for some reason) oddly proud of them Especially because of the condescending behavior. But it's all fun and games.

There's 3 Universities in Ireland that either are or were called queen's college (Belfast, Cork, Trinity)

The rules for codenames is that the number is the number of cards related to the clue and the operative's number of guesses plus one

I don't understand this clearly, but from my understanding they could still try and guess the things they missed from earlier clues if they figured it out on a later clue, because those cards are still counted towards their goal. For example, clue A has options 1 and 2, but they miss both. Clue B has option 1, but the person guesses the 2 things from clue A first

@@iexistasaconstruct They weren't saying "this is my extra guess", though. They were verbally trying to link their extra guess with the hint term that had already been used up.
