Ricky's expression when he thought he was gonna get praised for fixing the game but instead got scolded for not letting the opening game music play almost brought a tear to my eye...almost. Banger of a vid, gentlemen.
Watching this on my bday and after a pretty stressful day in the ER for my kid. He's doing better now. Appreciate your vids, they really help after some hard times and reminds me to stay positive. Hug your kiddos man and if please keep us in your prayers. Love your content guys and stay blessed PGS 💙
I used to see that Pesterminator statue near the freeway in Long Beach all the time - brought back memories when you brought that game out lol That Talespin cart is pretty rad!
I flood of retro emotions washed over me when that Play Choice 10 was working with Zelda music playing. The way in which Ricky shows exactly how we as kids used to hook wires up incorrectly even though they are color coded with Yellow Red White VGA, and the ol game cart blow n go works every time. Very fine work guys.
So cool! Ricky can keep the sweater lol Riff u so thoughtful 😂😂. That NES TV combo was the thing childhood dreams are made of. I remember seeing kids playing one at Sears! Remember Sears?? My mom and dad unfortunately had to drag me away because I think we were last minute Christmas shopping or something 😅
What a bunch of bangers! Seeing that joy when the m82 lit up and then played music! Riff and Ricky, your channel has won me over and is now my favorite channel.
I love you guys friendship, you can tell everything is so genuine. Love to see it! Keep making the killer content, always a treat to catch up on videos after a long day at work. Hope to meet you fellas at a convention soon!
I feel you Ricky. I have a similar scar on my leg and 2 steel plates and 19 screws to go with it. I don't skate or snowboard or rollerblade anymore either.
Damn. The M82 cabinet is cool. Wish I had friends who were interested in retro game collecting. 😭 I had a phase but felt if I had friends that shared the hobby, I'd be more into it.
That Powell board was rad. And congrats Ricky on the M82! I'm buying one off a guy and one day I know I'll have to make the cabinet for it because a real one cost insane money if you find it. But I found a video on youtube of a guy who built a M82 cabinet last year. Maybe that can be a future project for you. The video is titled "The Complete Nintendo M-82 Kiosk Build! Start to Finish" Congrats!
Does your little prison TV have LEDs in it? I never knew, I've only ever seen it transparent. It looks so cool it up green like that! I hope Ricky can get that M82 cleaned up and looking slick. It's such a cool piece.
Ghost Lion is one of my top game hunting tales, found it at a regular old Salvation Army for a mere $3 marked as an audiocassette book. :) Complete in box, poster and all!
What an epic episode with so many bangers, also prototype, unreleased game and shop demo nes. Fking unreal 👍 am stoked Feels like this is the best nes hoarding video so far
An excellent episode guys and it's nice to see some well deserved treasures in the realm of nintendo goodness make it's way into home where it will be incredibly loved and cared for. My best friend almost has a full loose nintendo game collection minus the really obscure stuff, and one of the games he is on the look out for is bubble bobble part 2. I'm hoping now that he has a job as a manager of gamestop he can finally put away the necessary funds in order to get himself a copy.
Crazy I have the same scar on the same ankle... my injury was not letting go of the handles on a go-ped after a backflip that was a very bad landing, resulting in the 20lb motor crashing down on my ankle
Great video as per usual. Just curious what will the final number be when you complete the collection since you are collecting everything including the unlicensed games?
Yea and we even do homebrew and all that I’m not sure. I could see it get near 600 or so. But about 672 should be for official NTSC but it depends who you ask hahah
Loved this. I miss skateboarding! I have a board and skate to and from my car at my work but I never get to do tricks because I wear Jordan’s or Yeezys… I do skate when there is half pipes etc. lol
Bubble Bobble is a great game for Dads and kids, me and my ten year old are on level 80 something on the first one, they made a huge mistake not making the second one 2 player co op.
if anyone on the squad is reading please release your podcast where you talk about how so cal gaming went. you never released it on the podcast app on my iphone
