I’m a hug US fan and although I really thought it would be more of a 3-0 Colombia game if we played them again, it would take Colombia playing a super shitty game and US playing the best game of there life to get a win and even then US would still need some luck. Colombia really just another animal and US just not near there level even if they had another coach Colombia has that South America energy plus the players plus the coach? We’re way far away from being close to beating this Colombia
There is absolutely no way Colombia will win it in a penalty shootout, Dibu has proven to be the best penalty stopper in the world. Colombia is gonna have to win in regular time or extra time for the best chance at lifting the cup. This will be a true test for both teams but with the amount of experience, talent, and less fatigue for Argentina on Sunday, I think the smart money would be on Argentina.
Pressure is Argentina’s steroids, they thrive off of it, we could see that in the beginning stages of the World Cup, Argentina wasn’t really doing that well, but once the important games came, nobody was able to stop them.
The guy with the curly hair is driven by his emotion. Argentina has the keys for each team. They have best player in the history. Thats a major plus always for the tango boys
Colombia faced much stronger competition. Argentina had an easier path and still struggled. And that best player is far from it now. Not saying its a definite win for Colombia but they have been playing better football. Saying otherwise is being driven by emotions.
They have a 37 year old who if were honest has strguggled playing through this Copa America, if anything he is a burden to Argentina bc he doesnt even run 90% of the time. Colombia isnt canada or ecuador if you noticed. In my opinion this Copa America is Colombia’s
Did you guys not just see the game against Uruguay?! Columbia took a beating and the final is 3 days away lmao Sure Columbia won but they had to give it EVERYTHING to squeeze by all while taking multiple injuries that will no doubt will affect those who play on Sunday and then Munoz got a red so he's out of the final. Add on that Argentina didn't have to strain themselves anywhere near as much against Canada and they have a whole day more to recover and it favors Argentina even more when you consider that and leave your emotions aside.
@@dagosegovia843 He hasn't struggled if he lives rent free in your head..you wouldn't bother but I believe you fear that 37 year old guy more than all his teammates
Sunday will be Di Maria's final match for Argentina. Munoz would've been marking him, but he's out due to the red card. I think he has a massive opportunity to potentially score the winner in his last ever appearance. That'd be an amazing story.
If copa had normal extra time rules instead of automatic penalties, Argentina would’ve lost twice already. It’s ridiculous how they don’t go to extra time after the match.
@@WSTCOASTDMN you can’t just make assumptions like that. You don’t know what could’ve happened in extra time. Especially because that break would calm everything down and reset the tempo of the game and also which would be the second lost ?
From what i see. Argentina is getting better after every game . Somehow i think Argentina has a higher confidence over Colombia.. how can Colombia match that same energy into the final .. they went all out, in semis
If Daniel Muñoz would play, hands down Colombia all day but that red card he got during the Uruguay game will hurt Colombia's attacking scheme they've been running. He opens the middle because not only does he defend but he also attacks from the right. Close to the box Muñoz can pass a air ball at the goal, or kick it for a shot on goal and most importantly, opening space and passing it to James by giving James open space to create. Muñoz presence will be missed in the final. 😢
Kevin Castaño can play for Rios. Arias is not Muñoz but colombia has a lot depth and the coach has a lot of cards to play: Sinisterra, Asprilla, Mina, Quintero or Borja can fill in Muños void... with a different strategy
This Colombia 🇨🇴 Team has been stronger than any other team in the Copa America 2024 so far. My prediction: Colombia 🇨🇴 is the clear winner, mark it on the paper and come back after the final.
Darwin absolutely ruined it for Uruguay. 3 golden chances all misses. Argentina (Messi and Alvarez) will not miss those chances. I think Argentina will in it.
@@alejandrogutierrez5051not the chances Darwin had bro lol bro was in front of goals so many times. Plus Argentina won and scored in both games. I gurantee you put Messi or Alvarez in those situations they bag bro it’s just facts
Argentina were shaky vs Ecuador but it would be so good if Columbia can keep their unbeaten streak as it started with their loss against Argentina in 2022 and Columbia's form is INCREDIBLE
We all knew it was gonna be an Argentina vs Colombia showdown in the Copa finals.....May the best team wins...On paper Argentina with far more experience than Colombia & also the World Cup & present Copa champions...Colombia has a real fight on their hands this weekend.......Argentina is the favorites though as its gonna be played in Messi's new backyard (Miami Florida amidst Colombia's huge supporters) so the stadium will be filled with way more Messi Argentina fans.
Latino America against Argentina “Argentina doesn’t deserve it with the way they’ve been playing”… 8 goals scored 1 against. Good teams find ways to win ugly period. Argentina run is no fluke, pero asi es were used to the hate
Colombia's win streak is impressive, but you have to remember that Argentina has only lost 2 games in the last like, 6 years or something crazy like that. If it wasn't for a game against Uruguay, and a crazy miracle pulled off by Saudi Arabia, their win streak would be like, 70 games or something? I'm too lay to actually look up the numbers haha
Classic ronaldo fans in the chat talking about cheating. Good thing there pathetic hate does nothing. How sad do you have to be to still be crying because messi is better
People always say "Argentina Barely beat... (Ecuador, Netherlands, Australia, France, etc. etc.) It's because they always play like, one single little notch above whatever the opponent is playing. They never crank it up to 11 when the opponent is playing at a 6. It's frustrating and stressful as an Argentina fan, because almost every game they play looks like it's going to fall apart around the 70th minute, but... you gotta trust them, because they always end up winning it in the end.
Argetnina already won world cup.. Winning this copa will be great but it's not all that significiant. Either they won or won't, Argeninta is the best team in the world
Colombia's bench is deep Rios said he was fine but even if he wasn't we got Castano, Uribe, and Quintero to fill the void. Munoz will be missed, but we got Arias who is well vetted and strong, he is a really strong player and the reason he doesn't start is because he gets tired, but we only need him for 1 game, and he is well rested. Also we got Lucumi and Mina who we can use to fill the gap by Munoz instead. Yes, they don't usually play fullback but dont get it twisted because we havent seen Lucumi since his injury in Paraguay he is one of the strongest defenders Colombia has, and Mina may not be fire with his feet, but dude is tall as hell and his headers are some of the best, he blocked how many shots with his headers from Uruguay in only a couple of minutes. Also Messi is still not playing 100% don't get it twisted the guy is amazing, and just because he made a goal last game against Canada doesn't mean the guy is fully back. He is playing a bit slower than usual, the injury from the second game is still annoying him. This will be a great game, but to put it simply the real final was last night. Obv Argentina can still win but the clear favorite considering the form these teams have been on, with Colombia 5-0ing Panama, and winning against Uruguay a man down, is far more impressive than the Penalty shootout forced into by Ecuador.
@@bali-b292 okokokokokok look maybe lorenzo just tells him not to shoot, and to find James, but like he can get the ball up the field, but yea those hurt
waking up today with a couple of medialunas and my coffee loving being champion of the last copa América, the finalissima and the world cup, nothing compares to be argentinian 🏆🏆🏆
Wow, even till today going against Argentina is a bad choice. They proved it. They’ve proved everyone wrong. This will be extremely hard for Columbia. This cup is Argentinas.
Colombia tiene un equipo fuerte con muchos jugadores talentosos. Pero le falta la disciplina. Desafortunadamente escojo a Argentina para la victoria --- desde Canadá, una población que no sabe nada de fútbol jaja.
Colombia unbeaten in 28 games (they're not facing ARGENTINA in those runs), good for them but the last team who beat Colombia was ARGENTINA ... Now Colombia meets the KING again ... I'm just saying 🤫
in 2021-22 everybody think liverpool will win but real madrid experience get them over line, same thing can be said to argentina because they know they dont have to their best to win final
Argentina was given a easy way to the final but other than that Colombia is taking this final ! I also heard Richard Rios injury wasn’t a muscular injury just a bang so he might still be good to play in the final
Saying Argentina don’t deserve it is the most pathetic, lazy stupid argument. Whoever wins deserves it, what are you talking about you two weasels….acting like Argentina have played bad games.
