Petition to have Mr Brown on every podcast. He is hilarious and very insightful. As someone in my 50’s who started lifting when I was 14, I actually had magazines that had pictures of Mr Brown. Still lifting to this day and I’m healthier than dudes half my age. The power of resistance training will never be understated.
Absolutely. Unfortunately there used to be a lot more like him when I was a kid (order, standards, expectations, DISCIPLINE, respect). Today’s world has lost just about all of that in the last 30 yrs.

Mr Brown is an absolute gift to society. His tenacity and self confidence oozes amidst the boys' light-heartedly egging him on. His sincerity and wisdom anyone can tell is grounded from what life taught him. Him and his wife raised fine athletes and gentlemen. Every Father and family isn't perfect but you can tell your Father was fully dedicated to his children. He may come rough and raw but his best interest was for them and thats love. This is a true Father! God bless your family 🙏🏾

Mr. Brown is a treasure I will be turning in for his podcasts. The reason coaches and parents didn't ask him how he was training you guys because of ego. I would have been the first parent to ask how he trained you guys. You guys are so blessed to have pops to guide you fellas through your journey.

I’m so impressed with the St Browns. Look how they turn out with an involved father. Breaks my heart when I hear of kids growing up without a loving dad in the home. Or some players having 12 kids with 12 different women. Fathers are important!
…yeah, i would watch it…..but, bear in mind, just as he stated..he was a specimen prior to lifting, so, he would have had good results regardless of what training he did…and he was a pro, so, throw in juice as well….even so, i would love to hear it…
@@kramer1372 agreed. And from what I've seen, he and his sons form on most exercises is pretty awful, so that made me more curious to hear what actually helped him the most, but very possible it's genetics and juice lol
Bring this man John Brown back for another episode and I'll bring not only myself to watch, but my family and friends as well. That man is sheer entertainment, and the family dynamic between him and his sons is reminiscent of my own family's.

There needs to be more fathers (black, white, brown, etc.), who devote enough time to make sure there kids have the best chance to succeed. Guidance for young people is so important. Bravo!
I have to comment again. This family is extraordinary. Like, it’s unreal. If there was a country that had ALL St Brown families, father in the home, mom stays at home and educates and mothers, I mean that country would never fall to #2. EVER. This family is, I don’t even know the words. They’re incredible human beings.
I swear if my dad was like John Brown, I am almost positive that both him and my mom would still be alive today. Unfortunately, my dad became a deadbeat drug addicted because he started hanging with the wrong crowd. My sweet mom raised me by herself. You, fellas, are very lucky to have a good dad who knew how to lead, provide, and create a foundation & structure for you from childhood to adulthood. You had guidance. God bless this man. So many black kids, especially black boys, needed this type of dad in their lives.

I hope Chip Brown heard this. I remember when Big John used to talk to chip and Sean on AM1300 the zone back in the day. I know Sean’s cracking up over it in heaven! Miss those morning on my commute.
This may go down as the most important podcast ever! What John is saying is so true on so many levels. I'm 54 years old at 9 percent body fat, 6'2" 230 pounds. Any gym I walk into, people take notice. John is spot on about training, stick to the basics and perfect your form and technique and leave the rubber bands at home😂😂😂!
Lavar Ball is a great father & husband who got all 3 of his sons to the NBA. Also, he made it himself to the NFL. Lavar is his own legend & you’re not going to divide and conquer these great black men
These kids won’t know until he’s gone how right he is. Glad to see they’re catching his wisdom on camera - decent chance his boys don’t do the same for their kids but atleast his grand kids can watch him after he’s gone and still pick up game.
Mr. St brown is as real as it gets on the positive side of things. Drank a coke & made it through my shift. He seems to always know what he talking about. You guys lucky got the answer right in front of you!
