I think Nevaeh is very mature and levelheaded for her age, which is really refreshing, and is evidence of good parenting.

Ah, Jeremy, you are making me cry. I'm 62, both my boys are grown, half my grandkids are grown, youngest is almost 10, and I seriously feel robbed. I say robbed because my husband of 21 years, ruined the last few years of the marriage, there is an 8 year age gap with the boys and I feel the youngest esp got the short end of the stick, and having to always work so hard, just time for family fun got scarse and seldom, so many regrets. I have made the choice to sell my home in the spring and get a tiny home just a few mins from the youngest, just to reclaim some of that family enjoyment before it's too late, I told both my boys as well, when their kids were babies, "DON'T BLINK", don't blink my loves, it's gone before you know it, pay your bills, of course but put family time over money.....now I'm crying again......ugh! But I'm serious, I love you guys and your channels ,because you are so grounded. Happy birthday Neveah!!

Love your podcast guys…makes my wife and I feel like your family is our extended family. As a fellow believer and father, this comment is for Jeremy…God reminds us to trust Him, but even go deeper and “trust in Him.” God knows and cares for you and your family (and Nevaeh) so much more than even a father’s love towards his daughter. God has a GREAT plan for Nevaeh!

Where does that leave you? Well I would say I have had some conversations with my Dad especially with dating and heart break… it’s very hard to understand how a man could not love me the way my father would… you will hold your daughters heart and might be the only one who can help her when her heart is broken… just my thoughts when it comes to My Dad… I am reminded of my dad when I see your love for your kids… you’re very blessed!

@@NewWorldOldSoulPodcast No offense, here; my heart is recognizing the NEED to share this. 🙏🏻🙋🏼‍♀️💓🥰💝 Miss Melissa, Dateline is NOT a healthy or Biblical choice for YAH'S people. It's a VERY fearful, negative & demonic subject & presence, giving them permission to attack you (DON'T let them in & give them permission). Scripture obedience; THINK ON THESE THINGS. 😉👍🏻... * Philippians 4:8 KJV 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. * AMEN. Be encouraged to see that direction of correction, for the LORD'S blessing. Blessings in FOLLOWING CHRIST. 🙏🏻👣👣 Much love & blessings to y'all, with the power of the Holy Spirit.💔🙏🏻👣👣❤️‍🩹💝💖🥰😘

You are a blessed daughter Nevaeh to have parents who love and encourage you. Enjoy your youth and have a wonderful birthday celebration! This video took me down memory lane. My husband and I had 5 children. We homeschooled all of them from start to finish back in the late 1980's when not many people even knew what that was. My husband was self-employed in the trades and our children went with him many times and learned skills like painting, remodeling, etc. I cried when each one of our children left home. It was incredibly emotional for me. I also experienced a tremendous sadness when our last child graduated from homeschool and then, to this grief-stricken mama, he had the nerve to go and get married at 20 years old. We were a tight knit family too and I grieved my son leaving home so soon. I did actually get a wonderful daughter-in-law out of it who loves my son and has given us 4 of our 12 grand-cuties and another one is on the way.😊 I commend you as parents for keeping the conversation open and sharing honest feelings. Bravo to all of you!

Happy Birthday Neveah, do what you plan and want to do! I cried for two weeks when my eldest a daughter left. She left at 17 and it freaked me out! She is 43 now a successful architect, a Mom and a great hardworking person! They will experience what they want and make good and bad decisions! I always left my opinions to myself unless asked, the weird thing is your job is done! You’ve taught her as much as you can, now it’s her life to make choices! Good luck and enjoy the next great years to come!!❤️

It really is hard to let go of our children, not because you want to keep them in close proximity, it’s more about their safety. As a parent you want to shield them from questionable decisions, dangerous situations or cruel people who take advantage. And it’s so natural to worry, even though logically it does absolutely no good to change or control anything. How can we not be concerned. One comfort is our children having a strong faith so that they never feel alone. And it’s interesting that the less I pry into their business the more they involve me. One step at a time and be assured we are all on a learning curve! It’s huge and healthy to be forgiving of our kids and ourselves. Loved this interaction and I have also subscribed to Navaeh!

Oh ... I was a crying mess for weeks leading up to my daughter going off to university. I remember the last night of dropping her at school, she turned the corner and I fell apart! A plethora of emotions hit me all at once and I sobbed out loud, my husband was in shock as my heart was breaking with audible sobs and tears endlessly flowing. I can still remember the unnatural feeling of leaving my daughter in another state 4,000 miles from home, from safety, from me! UGH! BTW ... she was perfectly fine. She is now a wife and amazing mom to my 12 year old grandson. Somehow I survived! LOL.

One thing that stood out to me was you did not mention the MILITARY as an option to get a start in a career. I am 77, a Vietnam vet, and young people ask me about the military. My advice now is DO NOT do it. I don't think our leaders care about who's life is on the line with what they do. Nevaeh, you have a good head for what your plans are and what needs to be done to get there. You had your DAD all confused, girl stuff, it is like walking through a mine field. You have a GREAT family and one that LOVES you. Happy 18, but it is only a number, based on how far we are from the SUN. Enjoy as many of them as you can.

I have always admired the military, the honor that comes with serving, etc. But my dad wouldn't allow me to join. I was only 16 upon grad. Still at 17 wanted to join, but no. By time I turned 18 life happened & I changed my mind & got married just to get away from fam. I have always regretted not joining. This day & age I would NEVER enc my child/grndchrn to join. The military has gone woke, they start wars just to make money & they do NOT care about each life (it's only a # to them). Look at how biden treated the soldiers coming home in caskets looking at his watch!😢 So unbelievably disrespectful!!! No person to this day has taken respons for that disastrous decision (that took 13 prec lives). No this "woke" crowd, infecting the world, doesn't care about our soldiers! Or anything else (but self) for that matter. If leaders were diff, my thoughts would change. Even a lot of navy Seals (&SF) think diff about our country now.

Today’s colleges and universities are less about teaching and more about breeding indoctrinated communists so I’m kind of glad that Nevaeh is choosing to forgo college. She’d be coming out with student loan debt while learning liberal garbage. I think she has a good mindset right now. Giving herself time to work on whatever she likes right now while maturing and finding out what she wants to do later. I love that Nevaeh is considering marriage and building a family in her future. That is amazing!! I hate that people think women need to conquer the corporate world and belittle the importance of raising the next generation. God bless Nevaeh. ❤

The only thing I can give you as a parent who has been there 3 times. Trust and have faith in the way you have raised them and the values you have instilled in them. You HAVE done your job, and there are still going to be those time when they need your advise and shoulder. My youngest is 35 and she and her daughter have moved back home. You want to talk about an adjustment. I don't have a separate home for them and had to build an addition so that we didn't kill one another living on top of one another. They have been here almost 8 years and we are still changing how we relate especially now that my granddaughter is a teen. Instead of focusing on how she MIGHT have issues, be proud of who she is. From what I can see she is a very put together young lady who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to work to get it. God Bless and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Nevaeh.

Jeremy I'm a 53 year old woman that had my mom as a best friend until God took her home 2 years ago. If I could say anything it would be this. Just because Melissa and Nevaeh will have their bond, does not mean that you can't carve out your own with Navaeh. Take her out to dinner or pick something just for you two to do. I wanted nothing more than to have that bond with my dad. We finally grew closer the last 10 years of his life but I wish it would of happened sooner. I lost him too 8 years ago and I still wonder sometimes what our relationship would be like if he was here. Girls may talk to their moms, but they look up to their dads. Well I looked up to my mom too. But my dad was who I set my guide lines to for the men (husband) in my life. God bless!

You all have done such a beautiful job at raising your beautiful daughter! I love watching her videos …and her sense of humor is really amazing… I’m a Grammy..69 years old and she makes me laugh…out loud….not just giggle! I also would love to see her include music in her videos…she has a beautiful voice…I would really enjoy listening to her play the piano …or the guitar! I am not talented in that area at all… so therefore I and I’m sure many others would enjoy experiencing that thru her videos…. She has such a great head on her shoulders…for sure! I wish her all the best ..in all that she does today and in the future! I wish you a very Happy Birthday….have fun and enjoy…because it does not come back around…and it goes by really really quick! ❤️

Happy birthday Nevaeh🎉🎂 You are very smart with your future plans. I know from a young age I wanted to be an RN so I went to college right away. My daughter was like you and not sure. You will go far in this world. Follow your spirit and trust yourself. 💖💃🌹

Happy Birthday Nevaeh! Loved this podcast. My heart hurt for you Jeremy when your voice broke. Day at a time! You both have raised great children. Loved the honest feelings and thoughts y’all shared. Thanks! ❤❤❤

Jeremy, I had the same emotions as I spoke with my (2) Daughters and (1) son as they prepared and crossed the threshold into adulthood...From the father's perspective, the helplessness and welling up of emotions are challenging for a dad. You shared some raw feelings with Nevaeh (and all of us...). Bravo. Lastly, having a fantastic partner as you travel this emotional roller coaster is excellent; someone will give you the space to feel and be you. I congradulate the both of you and your unique young adult...Live on...Aloha G

Wow, have you given me some major memories to remember with your podcast with your 1st born daughter. I'm 85 now and my wife and I will be celebrating our 61st anniversary this October. We have 2 daughters both in their 50s and the youngest has become a grandmother with the second granddaughter coming this month. I am surrounded with females in our 4 generations. I've enjoyed Melissa's closure messages after each episode on you build u-tube channel. Thanks Jeremy for showing manly emotions by choking up and being vulnerable. My greatest joy as a parent was when both of our daughters came to me when they chose to ask Jesus into their lives as their personnel Saviour and the second was walking them down the isle when they got married. Thanks for the memories.

This was your best podcast by far. Jeremy, I admire you so much for the way you wear your emotions on your sleeve when it comes to your family. You both are raising incredible children. As Neaveh goes out on her own and travels alone, please never let a drink out of your sight. Never take a pill someone offers you, please. My oldest son was an engineer for CSX Railways and he worked incredible hours and days and a friend offered him a pill that would give him a boost to continue his job and it was laced with fetinyl and he died. He never did drugs in his life.

When I saw that Nevaeh was the guest it put a smile on my face. She is such a smart young woman. She appears to have a very kind heart. I enjoy her channel very much. I’m 62 years and I don’t really understand this RU-vid thing but I do like your 3 channels. 🥰

Wow Neveah, your maturity is astounding. We don't have many teenagers graduating HS with this mindset. I just adore you and faithfully believe that your parents rasied you up well. I never pushed my kid's to go to college because of the incredible debt and mostly because whatever career they do seek, probably will not pay enough to make a living and to pay of that debt. So I just asked that they seek happiness in whatever job's they find. Mom and Dad, here is a high five 🙋‍♀️, you raised a head strong, very intelligent young lady. Happy Birthday Neveah. 🎉
