So happy to see this video. The shots of my kids births remain some of my favorite and I hope you continue to enjoy looking back at them. Congratulations. I can hear the dad happiness in your voice when you narrate. So happy for you.
Thanks Erik! These photos are definitely some of the favorite shots I've ever taken! I'm planning on making some sort of small photo book to give to our family members. So we can all enjoy them for years to come.
Amazing photos, thanks for sharing. My daughter spent 3 weeks in the NICU when she was born, and while supremely stressful, I’m really glad I took pictures of that time. Sadly before I started shooting film again, but glad I documented it.
Congratulations for your daughter. And it's nice to know that she'll be able to look at those awesome photos when she'll be adult. That wouldn't be the case had they been taken with a smartphone. 🙂
Really love this series ! I had an R8 but after a few rolls i noticed how tough was compeared to others slr to nailed focus. Not the best focus screen imo.
I have Gilbert’s disease and that effects my liver in a similar way, my eyes are always jaundice but you seems to have a good understanding of it! Always love to see new posts from you! Hope all is well! :)
Hope your job and family are well, nothing makes you grow up like having your own children. Many people decide that children deserve a very special life-long promise in a legal and real way called marriage. Many seem to think there is no reason to "formalize" such relationships, however, the reality is many who say that are just really selfish or too chicken to make an actual life-long until actual death kind of commitment come hell or high water. It is daunting. It kind of depends on having man berries or not. All IMHO. You and many may completely disagree, that is fine. Also, since the world is full of literally thousands and thousands of ideas, philosophies, ideologies, many of which are not good, one needs to ground children in virtue in such a way as to give them a compass for life that will help them navigate life. For this I recommend a religion, and not just any religion but a quite unique one: Catholic. The premise of the Catholic faith is that God Himself came to Earth, was conceived by the power of God, not by man, in the womb of a very special young lady. That young lady gave birth to one we call Jesus. All of this was in fulfilment to previous promises God made earlier to the Jewish people, whom God had selected to be His own and to begin revealing Himself to humanity. A ground zero people, Chosen to start the mission if you will. In any event this Jesus went on to do some amazing things including establishing an organization we call a church. So, quite amazingly God Himself walked the Earth and set up an organization; He wants YOU and your family to know that and to DEEFINITLEY join. A comment in RU-vid is a rather odd place to get the invitation, but, God works in mysterious ways. Anyway, the Catholic Church as 1.2 billion members, many of whom are not nice, many of whom are; it is a mixed bag full of sinners and saints, good and bad people, all of whom are on a journey. So, if you want to really be happy, really understand why people live, die, suffer, get sick, and IF you live after you die, well the answers are all available, and more ,and provided by the ONLY organization on Earth founded by God Himself. To prove it all, our founder, Jesus, rose from the dead after being publically executed. Quite the stuff there. Many witnesses. So, take it or leave it, no offense meant, only the best of wishes of peace, health, prosperity and blessings for you and yours. But, being a Dad is a high calling because God has given you a little soul to guard and steer and protect, so you need the best map for life and best philosophy because there are no guarantees of nice things happening, and you can be sure, life will be a mixture of good, bad, happy sad, wonderful and tragic. Find Jesus and His Faith. That is The Way, that is Good News. All the best to you and yours!
