From this comparison, I like the Diana and I have had one for years but never really used it, so this makes me excited, as I am here because I need to find out how to use it and how its suppose to look, etc. Thank you for this.
Hi Joey, I just purchased this same camera but the original battery mount was missing. There was a battery cartage inside the compartment but it was type you have to solder and the wires were not soldered. Can you tell me, does the white wire go to + and the black to the - side?
both cameras are crap thats why i bought them both 😂 built quality, holga seems sturdier, diana f+ has that flexibility of exposures. i love cameras that have its own distinctive signature written all over them, holga and diana are those cameras. great video guys ❤
6 year video, but here we are. I love my Diana, and in this video the Diana was the clear winner. However, each camera is so different due to build quality, and the holga can be modified pretty readily for some fun combos.
Nice one Joey, loved your video but would have really appreciated it if you would have corrected the exposure settings and viewfinder compensation during your shoot so we could have seen your adjusted exposures.
Hi, Joey! This inspired me so much. I have the same camera and looking to do this with my own :) I'm curious what cable release you used? And is there anything specific to know about connecting it to the housing's button? I'm stoked and hope to put out some surf film from Santa Cruz, CA. Thanks again!
Ya, as far as I know it's the same stuff, just under a different name. I've heard rumors that they've 'improved the formula' but I've never had good results...
