I have not been to this area since the 80s. Im so relieved that it's kept it's charm. It was my favorite area, especially Helen, Georgia, to go wherever I wanted a break from Atlanta, where I grew up. I miss seeing it! Thanks for sharing your video ❤
I grew up in Dahlonega and visited Helen frequently myself. It’s growing fast these days and would be hard to recognize if you haven’t been there in a while. Thank you for watching and commenting 😃👍
@northbysoutheast5439 thanks for the video. I was on Atlanta last year year. Both of my parents passed away within 5.5 weeks of each other. I hardly recognized north Atlanta! I really appreciate growing up in North Georgia. I'm 65 and have been living in Florida most of my adult life. I always came back home several times a year until I started my family 28 years ago and had to stay in the area with my husband and daughter. She just got married over Memorial Day weekend. Hope that it never gets as over built like other areas. It is such a beautiful place and I really 💕 love the mountains and rivers, etc. Enjoy 😉

Helen Ga. is the heart to all roads in this area. We live about 45 minutes away. You need to visit and enjoy all they have to offer. Thank you for watching and commenting 😎👍👍
If ever in North Ga look up Bell Mountain and take a climb to the top. It would be best to take the Honda up there because the road is straight up and that is no kidding. 😎👍

Very nice. I'm not much of a fan of people that spray paint all over the rocks, etc, but the view from that over look is awesome. We need to ride down the Helen, it's been too many years since we went out that way.
People need to be prosecuted for doing the graffiti like that. Helen is a nice little town if you go through the week. Busy on the weekends. Bell mountain isn’t motorcycle friendly because it’s straight up on a single lane road and would burn out a clutch easily if you had to stop for a car. 😎👍
@@northbysoutheast5439 I agree about them being prosecuted for it. They should also be forced to clean up their mess. I can only imagine how busy Helen is when it is the weekend and the middle of summer. I wouldn't stop for the car, I would make them stop for ME. Hahahaha

I agree. I could never understand folks that say, "Wow, this is so pretty here," then proceed to cover it with spray paint. People that do it should be covered in SPAY paint, so they can't produce offspring that will be just as ignorant as they are. Hahaha
