Ik I would add the biscuit (??) head for it to be more original but honestly the mf could've added smthn else and got away with it or it wouldn't be any different in reception But you're probably right im just playing devil's advocate and thinking too deep

I mean this guy is actually pretty smart, promoting this saying it’s better than obviously higher quality stuff, but then it being so bad that it became a meme, causing it to go viral and then everyone memeing on it making the creators more money due to the amount of watch time + viewers + ads. I legit enjoyed this more /srs, mainly because I felt numb throughout this entire vid and not a single joke landed, but by achieving this it’s already better than tadc in my book; the uncanny valley over-the-top-fandom-pander, I cannot force myself to sit through that mindrot a second time (tadc) whereas Id pop this back in to laugh at once or twice probably in the future. I wouldn’t call this good tho 💀
@@AmayaHinageshi The fandom itself has nothing to do with it, idrk abt that aspect. When I say “fandom-pander”, it feels like the show was concocted in a lab to pander to fandom-culture as a whole. This force-down-your-throat tumblrization started immediately in the intro song by introducing all the zany characters, while sprinkling in some uh-oh-spooky backrooms gen z mystery sauce on a blindingly-colorful backdrop. At least this show isn’t begging to be theorized about by dropping lore boulders every 5 seconds.

In one scene, the first drawing says he hasn't seen Calobi's self-insert since the two of them were "slaying dragons in the forest of secrets." Uninspired name for the location aside, that implies that Calobi and the first drawing carried out a genocide against dragons within their own natural habitat. In an attempt to make the character cool, he turned him into a mass murderer.
Calobi (ice cream sandwich man)’s voice acting was really bad in this movie ngl. Like, the design for the character and body movements look like Ash Ketchum is talking, but the voice is like really deep? No offense to Calobi’s voice, I just feel like the design could’ve been changed to match the character better.
I mean, what do you expect from a RU-vidr who’s obsessed with making videos like “CARTOONS THAT SWORE ON ACCIDENT” with a picture of one of the characters with a black bar over their mouth with the classic “$&@%” gobbledygook on it.
