Our Early Stages of Dating- Lesbian Relationship 

I'm 61, divorced a man 6yrs ago. It never felt right. I went to a dating app and met an awesome lady. Going strong to this day. I love it when both you on video.

You’re right, when you meet that special person you feel it right away. I met my wife on a dating site and she was from Illinois and I from Pennsylvania. I ghosted her for a while and then we connected again through text and phone calls, it was hard having a long distance relationship. When I got the first chance to see her in person, I thought oh boy what did I get myself into and then hugging her I knew she was the missing piece. 6 months later we were engaged and married 3 years later and will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary .

I think about downloading a dating app to chat with women and see how I feel about doing this first step into.. Being, experiencing myself as a woman liking women. It's scary to me to think of me as a lesbian.. But I really would like to figure myself out.

That story about the little girl reminds me of a one sided dating experience I had. There was a single mother who thought I was bring selfish for exploring the likelihood of being mtf, and wanted me to be an adult male role role model for her daughter (who must've been 5 or 6 at the tine). The mother introduced me as "Uncle Ken", and her daughter responded with "Hi Auntie Ken.". I got the feeling that she sincerely was mainly trying to just mess with her mom, and was elated that even in this context, the kid's perception of me was as the woman that her mom bitterly refused to recognize me as.

This is so crazy because i think i now have a lifelong girlfriend. After getting out of a two year long relationship with who is now a guy friend. This woman who i met two weeks ago literally made me felt some type of way. She is so nice nurturing and caring. She's gorgeous also. We would literally talk on the phone from morning to night. Went on our first date. Yesterday we just had our first argument. It was more like a deep argument but it was more passionate. Here i im stuck because now im in love with someone i just met! She's also in love with me to! Sorry for my little rant. I swear being with a woman hits different but in a really good way. Just by looking at you both, you two look so in love! How difficult was it for your respective children to adapt? Blending families can be very tricky at times. How is it with the childrens' fathers? Do you have a good relationship together?

This doesn't really have anything to do with being late life lesbians specifically, but just being part of a couple starting a blended family in general. Was there ever a fear or moment when you thought your kids wouldn't get along the first few times you were introducing them?, and out of curiosity, did your son adapt well from being an only child, to having to share things and and even his time with you with his soon to be step siblings (every once in a while)? How do you guys handle punishments?

Q: In your professional lives do you have challenges explaining during non-work activities your new status to colleagues or others that knew you during your previous marriage? I find it awkward sometimes to talk to ppl at work about these topics even as a straight guy, for example in explaining why we still don't have kids.

I know it's just me, but I'm always quietly disappointed when I see the partner of someone I consider beautiful and the partner doesn't match her beauty and my expectations at all.
