Definitely woulda made all the Dakota owners proud! Custom plate was “DAMKOTA” and I used to be very active in all the Dodge Dakota FB truck pages/groups.

Same here my friend, all I could think was...well what can you do? Fortunately I was able to prove values of the build and the shop insurance paid out what I had in it. But years lost of time on a build, that doesn't get paid for or replaced. You just have to move on and it is tough for sure.

If they put me in charge of designing/idea creating truck builds. I have a pretty cool vision for builds! I may have to do another Dakota build down the line, but that requires a custom fabrication shop to do a build like that.

The original lift was a 3in Rancho Suspension lift and 3in Body lift. Impossible to find suspension lifts basically for them. You may find a few options online!

@@dakotadentonsrednecklife.7881 make sure to get 2nd gen manual tow mirrors, you will have to drill 1 of the 3 holes larger so you can get it to mount nicely and not be on a weird angle. Also thanks for the kind words man!

It was totaled out and not rebuildable, hauled it out to my families land and it has sat in some woods since 2018.

@@alexriddett2464 oh you know just "working" at Custom Offsets lol. But yes things happen in life that will be out of your own control, and it may not be easy. But you can always move forward! To this day and forever I will be sad about that build not getting done. It truly would have been one of a kind and changed the truck game. I may have to do another one years down the road!

I like how you put a hemi in it in high school, I just rebuilt my 350 small block & put flat top pistons in my Blazer just recently installed the lift and put some boggers on 15x14s you’re really an inspiration I’m a junior in high school right now lol like you with the Dakota

Always do what you love man, keep chasing those dreams and goals! You will find ways to make it happen, work ethic and mindset will be the 2 big ones! Your Blazer build sounds awesome buddy!
