Wow, amazing place. Seeing it really puts it into perspective. Now I see why it took Noah so many years. I can only image the ridicule that the family endured. Thank you so much for sharing this. I didn't even know this place existed. What a wonderful vacation.

Dont forget that Noah was allowed to take seven of all animals that were clean to eat. So he took female : 7 hens, 7 quails, 7 turkeys, etc. Thats a lot of birds laying eggs! Bird eggs take less than 3 weeks to incubate. You can eat Quail at 8 weeks old and chickens at 12 weeks. Lions could likely have eaten poultry, goat, Lamb, etc or God may have allowed them to eat straw as he said they will in the New Kingdom.
Since we are talking about Noah's ark....trivia for ya: How many pigs were on the ark? 2...right? How many cows, sheep, chickens...etc...were on the ark? 2 right? Nope..bible says there were 14 cows, sheep,,,,etc,,,why is that?
actually the Ark was foubd exactly where the Bible said it was on tehmountains of Ararat, the Turkish gov. wont let anyone near it these days, but a landslide uncovered a good section of it, and ppl have actually been there in the past so yeah it's all very real, just like there was only one door in teh Ark there is only one way to God and that is Jesus Christ the Savior of all mankind who died for us all so we could be forgiven for our sins all we have to do is receive that free gift of salvation and live a life pleasing to God.
