Aren’t you glad you started with the other projects first? Everything you’ve done is cool, and seeing the huge progress between your first build and the house so far is so gratifying! The solar shed has such a fun, funky vibe and now the house has such a developed, high quality feel to it. Important for the main building, and yet everything you’ve done before and what you’re doing now still all works together very beautifully ❤️❤️❤️
Unbelievable. Taken in that your filming/posting has changed and the kids are SO big to be lots of help.. It just seems to be going a LOT quicker than the chicken garden. As always KUDOS to y'all. ❤❤
Here is a saying that really woke me up today: "Constantly try to push yourself, put yourself in uncomfortable positions and get out of your comfort zone. That is where you learn, grow and become better." I have to say that you guys are a great example of this. And the rest of us need to wake up and start living!! I am so glad you got your older daughter's room and Goat barn finished. She really is dedicated to the goats and also working outside the home. And these additions really makes her work easier. Tell all your other super, hard working kids that their time is coming, and there will be new and wonderful things for them in the future too. They sure deserve it. So do your parents!! I will tell you, I just cannot wait for you to finish your home. It will be great to see all of you in a more comfortable setting. It is difficult to watch you struggle in the heat. I have lost track of what you are doing with your chicken garden, and also what happened to the bathroom experiment. I hope it was a success!!
So happy to see Dino! Jax has great eye - hand coordination! Good to take time out for the fur babies! And yes, Jonathan is looking very suave and debonair in that cool Aussie hat! All the kids are awesome! Great job well done Ashley and Jonathan! I so look forward to seeing y'all! I get to live vicariously through your videos! Lum 💖
As others have said, I love the development of your skills on the smaller projects first. So nice to see it all paying off. I also love that you show us your mistakes (the few that you make!) I also have to say it is so gratifying to see this family as the young folk grow. The girls are all learning self reliance and their opinions are valued. The boys are also learning self reliance, but also respect for women! All of this in a playful, loving atmosphere. Oh, I also love the footage of the animals, would love more cats, but the slow motion shots of the doodles galloping along, their ears flying and their long legs akimbo are so great. To think that someone thought to shoot that (could be anyone) and someone thought to keep it in the video (Jonathon, I assume?) is so heart-warming. Keep going!
So proud of you and in awe of everything that you've done since you sold your house in the suburbs and started this adventure! Sure wish we lived closer, so we could see you and your homestead in person!
I’m always impressed with the precision of your work, especially with materials you’re using. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Loving the whimsy of Dino and the fun the entire family, including the animals, has creating these videos. 🥰🥰🥰
Wow, 125 foot wall! That's how long the outside wall is? The third course on a 125 foot wall sounds daunting. Yumion ( sp? Yum Yum) hanging around? I love the hat you have Jonathan with the outline of the house on it in red. You all got 50 feet done in a day! Ada is pokey! Nice throw of the bag mix into the wheelbarrow Jax! Wow, into the bucket! I like your victory dance! It looks like Ada is having an "off" few days. She is such a hard worker. I hope you went for your Sushi Sunday! Thanks for the drone shots! It looks so cool with all the walls at the same level! Thanks for this video Longnecker family!
Jonathan & Ashley you & your kids are a machine. You are all just downright amazing. Hard work it is but onward & upward with get those next thirty levels done. We admire you all. Hi from Perth Western Australia.
I spotted the Dinosaur! I'm loving the music today. I'm enjoying the dream home build! So many rooms going on at one time ! So exciting . And thank you for wearing the hat! And I'm right there with less talking and just build and eat and have fun and sushi sounds perfect!
I know it's a lot of work....but I am so excited for you! I am happy for your little ones to get their rooms and make it their own style....looking forward to see the joy on your faces when you move in!
I think you are so wanting your home to be built that you are on a roll to get it done. Hard work, but satisfying, you will hopefully have the walls built this year both outside and inside and then be on to finishing! Loved this video - and yeah think Sushi!
GUYS!!! Great music, video content & editing, kids, pets, projects, dinosaurs, cooking & food, romance and that Indiana Jones hat!!! Who could want more?!?!?
Rock on!! Seriously. Go back and watch videos from when you all were just starting to make mix and just starting to lay bags and revel in the skill level that you have all built. Each of your children can easily go on to lead crews of people in building whatever the heck they want to! It's an impressive accomplishment!
Yeah!..It’s above the ground.Nearly there lol!.It must be a great feeling with each layer you put down ,to know your getting closer to your dream..When we got the Aerial view it really stands out now ,it’s going to be a good size ,you will feel lost in there after living in small spaces. But it will be amazing for you all.Plus the Children will have their own space for the first time in a long time..Great job family ..Love n hugs 🥰
So cool, guys. From the solar shed, to the chicken...enclosure(?) to the house. Side Quest of the airstream pad, down-under-dome, goat...barn(?) AND the Quality of the videos has really improved. Good job. The first ones are super fun and the latest ones are still fun. Just at a different level. :D The community accepted you, joined you and has really Expanded, grown and is maturing! Very, very cool. The kids are growing so fast. Wow. Way cool new dog! Different energy from the doodles...but, w/ cool reasons. She seems to have settled in wonderfully! BTW, super cool, surprise, Guest Appearances! LOL.
Love your music, views, personalities and love...Here's to y'll 🎉 congratulations for the steps you take together, it's so much fun and inspirational watching your adventures 💖 ❤ 😊
The 'just rose up out of the earth' look of earthbag buildings gives me enormous satisfaction. 😊 Now I need norri rolls and okonomiyaki and a doodle to look hopefully at me whilst I eat all of it. 🐏🐕
I saw a near miss of tripping over a piece of rebar sticking up out of the ground. Y'all are so careful about everything, but can I just suggest putting a loose piece of PVC pipe on that rebar so if anyone should fall they don't get seriously injured! Great job y'all!❤
Love the design of the house. After watching want you are building make me glad I am build a stick framed house here in the desert of Nevada. You have a long way to go but I will enjoy watch the process your family make weekly. - Jeff
Love to still see the kids active in the projects. It's great to see all the family so active together. Great work guys. I remember when y'all first started.
an idea to stop the bags from tearing on the dolly, cut or grind the ribbing off grind it smooth it should still be strong enough not to break ,only the bottom ribbing, I really enjoy watching you and your family doing all this construction work on your ranch jonathan.
When you build your next ramp, if you put the support above on the sides like a bridge to make your ramp lower. It would save a lot of lifting. Keep up the good work.
If you move the support from underneath to the top it could be lower. May not be worth the time to rebuild if you are not going to use for all of the build.
So if it takes one week to do one bag heigth, and the build is 30 bags high only 27 more weeks to go. But don't look at it that way. Celebrate the daily accomplishment. And a layer accomplishment. Before you know it it will be time for massive weeks of cob. More motivation than I have, so you guys rock.
When Ashley said "that's what she said" it made me spray my juice all over my tablet! 😅😂 i love your family and the way you all get in and get stuff done with smiles and love all around. #familygoals ❤
Hey good morning or good afternoon hope everybody's having a good day out there keep up the good work that's a lot of work to put all those bags and stuff on there but just the one step at a time and then you folks will get it done as soon as possible just keep up the good work and just one day at a time don't rush take your time all right have a good day❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love the drone shots. Love Aida’s orange top, I am everything orange. I can feel the excitement of, above ground. Ya’ll just give this grandmother the warm fuzzies. Waving from New Zealand. 🇳🇿
What a wonderful, exciting, unique project! And amazing learning experience for your student apprentices! Keep the faith! You are making great progress!
