Another great recipe Erin. Thanks so much🎉❤. I absolutely have withdrawals when I don't see a new vlog. I love the family. And love the rancho. God Bless 🙏🏻🕊️🎆
Your channel just happened to pop up on my feed the other day and when I clicked to listen to one of your episodes...WOWZA! That Midwest accent was unmistakable and I just had to follow you! Being a girl from the Midwest myself, I was fascinated how someone who sounds just like me ended up living in rural México. To find out that you're a sister in Christ as well was just the cherry on top. You have a lovely family and it's so refreshing to see how happy your children seem to be. One thing that the Lord has taught me over the last few years is that if I slow down and tune out the noise, I can hear His voice much more clearly. Your nightly walks remind me of my own, Erin. Those evening walks are when I feel closest to Jesus. We talk and he shows me the beauty of his creation -things that I would miss if I hadn't taken the time to slow down. I'm a Spanish/ESL teacher by trade and want to encourage you in your learning of Spanish. You are doing great! Total immersion is really the way to go in learning any language. A great way that I have found for introverts like you and me to practice Spanish is via a platform called Teacher AI. It's a little on the pricey side, but it allows me to practice my Spanish (as well as multiple other languages) whenever and wherever I want with an AI teacher. No fear of messing up at all and great for practice. The program function just as if you were having a natural conversation with someone. The program is new and is working out some bugs, but I highly recommend it. ❤
I adore your vlogs! Can you do a Q&A? I would love to know what what’s the most silly thing you miss about the US? Like nothing serious like family…just some superficial things. 🩷 I get to go to Mexico in one week…it’s my favorite place in the world.
I don’t usually like to comment on videos I watch, but I stumbled onto your vlog and really enjoy them. I also saw the link for the tshirts, I bought the “you had me at tacos”, it came really quick and I so love it. I was wondering if you could come up with a shirt for “siesta”, I’m a nap queen, I love my naps, and I would definitely order a tshirt that says something about “siestas”😃 I also like to watch you prepare the foods y’all eat, I would like to try some of the salsa and chili oil you put on everything but I can’t remember the names, if you could list them in your comments it would help me to remember. And last but not least I love that you see the good in everything, it’s refreshing to hear you talk about everything in such a positive manner. I am enjoying everything you share with us.
and the best part is no one feels bad about it. its so calm during that time you dont have to worry about anyone coming over or needing to go anywhere everyone just rest.
Having tuna pasta salad for dinner tonight, very simiikar to your version minus the chilli oil! Looks delish..we add capsicums and spring onions its my 7yr olds favourite too!
What a gorgeous picture. I have no idea how I stumbled across your vlogs but I enjoy them. It’s so interesting to see how others live. Thanks for sharing.
12:10 looks so delicious, tuna salad is my favorite too !! Although I have never tried it with Chile oil , cucumber, lettuce or pasta I would try those ingredients next time , thank you for the tips , enjoy your Siesta !!
Oh my! I watched your video this morning. I wish I could send you a picture of the tostada I just made for my daughter & I for lunch 🥗 thank you for the recipe 😊
Sin Duda. Ya descubriste El secreto Mexicano de porque la familia siempre ESTA unida. Ese parque es El verdadero Facebook de Mexico. Ahi estan tus amigos reales.
I was amazed at how much my daughters used to eat and kids in general. My grandkids can eat 5 times a day sometimes. They aren't fat either. I ate a lot as a kid too. I remember my mom fed us a lot of lean meat. Beef was cheap where I grew up.
I make my tuna differently but I have seen Mexican friends make it similar to your except they also add canned peas and carrots which I don't like. Yours looks really good tho and I'll definitely try it. I still have to make chicken salad too bc my husband is allergic to fish 😔 love your videos! Also my grandma always said purple onion and I agree, it's not red!
Thank you ❤️❤️ aww your comment had me cry❤ and it's so funny you can tell I am from the mid west. I will look into that program thank you for the recommendation and have a beautiful blessed day❤
I’m so happy to have found your channel! I’m very excited to learn the dishes you prepare. I love your clay cookware! Where could I purchase them? It makes me want to watch you more knowing you are a sister in Christ! 🙏🏻
It's so nice to find your channel! I live in a rural part of Mexico too (albeit close to a decent sized town). It's so nice you're showing the real Mexico! I love where I live now I moved around a lot at first but rural is heaven! I do have some tiendas nearby I walk everywhere too lol even in the heat :D I used to be a redhead too but now I've faded to light brown/white. To be honest my body loves the climate here even if my skin doesn't. You have a beautiful family. I'm looking forward to seeing more videos :)
Oh, no! Now your little one thinks im crazy 😂. I agree the onion is purple, but in the US, it's called a red onion. I just really liked this as an example of how vocabulary adapts to life in a new country.
Hello, I’m a new subscriber and I really enjoy your videos. I lived in Rancho Viejo a couple yrs ago and I loved the ppl and the view in the mornings were the best. Rancho life is the best! 💕 Blessings to you and your family.
Wow you made it to all the way to the mesa!? I gave up it was super hard to get all the way up there then I took the wrong shoes to do that. I’m so happy I found your RU-vid channel brings back amazing memories when I used to live over there.
My daughter always teases me about our channel. Tonight we were watching this video and she was mesmerized 😅. Maybe she'll film a bit more with me now. Oh btw she loves Valentina 😍
awww I hope she does :) I know some of my kids like to and some dont all depends on the day and moods. Annabels always up for it though. have a blessed day !
Erin, you really provoked me with that tuna salad so much, that I made one, the only thing I missed couple ingredients, like the Chile poblano, the lemons, and I didn't have tortillas😞I replaced them with some tostito ranch nachos left overs I had,it tasted good but I know yours tasted better😊Buen Provecho beautiful hard working family🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🐕🐕🐇🐇🐤🐥🐣🐔🐓🐖🐖🐎🐎🐄🐄🐐
Hay una canción que se parece mucho a tu introducción. Se llama creo en ti de grupo Reik de México está padre la letra. There is a song that is similar to intro. The name is "creo en ti" (i belive in You) of band Reik the layric is Nice. If You search good You can fund in English too. Make your family react to the two versions and tell us which one you liked best.
Esta deliciosa cada comida que preparas, y felicidades, veo que cada dia pronuncias mas palabras en español, ya veras que pronto dominaras el idioma por completo, ya mero te alcanzo en los videos jeje.
Just found this channel. Somewhat surprisingly, this is almost identical to a UK style tuna pasta salad, except we add canned corn and chopped peppers. Also, no tostadas!
I just found your channel and now I'm craving Mexican dishes! Keep on describing the food for us. When you order a dish and say the name of it I would like to know what is in it. I am interested in the food and the lifestyle and I love that you include your kids.
Hi, I enjoy your videos very much. You mention your husband father quite often even though he is no longer alive, he is another reason why you all ended up in Mexico. Was he ever in a video?
People keep them clean. It was something I had to get use to making sure I keep our part of the street picked up. Thank you for watching have a blessed day ❤❤
