Mardin is the city where I was born and raised, and it truly is a wonderful place with an extraordinary atmosphere. If you have guests coming from abroad, I can show them around, or if I'm not available, my sister can assist them. I want to introduce this city to the world. For more information, you can contact me.
Hooray! You found Gobekkli Tepe! The enigma in a mystery! Pre-pottery, stone tools, hunter/gathering nomads decided to change their world there...... And then bury their work on purpose. You are very close to Noah and the tower of Babel.
Göbekli Tepe is actually considered to be one of the sides where humans slowly turned from Hunter and Gatherer lifestyle to sedentary lifestyle. There are some other as old sides near by like Hasankeyf mountain villages/homes which are also dated to be over 10k years old.
Omgggggg i miss baba so much, the old man who served u cay is baba, the guy who also entertained me back when i solo travel to mardin. I miss him soo soo much.
It is truly a small world! Mardin might have been the most welcoming place we have ever visited! You know his Son invited us to dinner but we were leaving town and could not go😞.
@@WaypointofView oo my goodness. U know, baba treat me cay, pide at shop, then the som bring me to have lunch in a restaurant, bring me around also bring me to dara on the next day. Before leaving the city, i cried so bad. They were soo soo nice, genuinely.
As a Turkish person, I would like to thank you for introducing my country with a sincere attitude. i hope you will have nice days in other regions in Turkey
Honestly I came to see this video after I ate some delicious Turkish foods in Batu Ferringhi, Penang, Malaysia just now. The owner named his restaurant "Rubin Mardini" as he is from Mardin, Turkiye. What a place to visit though
The history of Eastern Turkey belongs to Armenia (Armenian Highlands/Armeniam Kimgdom). Turkey was created in1453 AD, and celebrated his 659th Anniversary in MY 2022. How much these history ignorant people receive to falsift Turkish history. Western Turkey was Byzantium (Greek)/Eastern Roman Empire. istanbul was called Constintanopile, city of Constantin. About 3,800 historic sites sre Armenian, 3,400 Greek, 600 Jewish and Assyrisn and only 700 Turkish. Haja Sophia was the biggest Greek Orthodox Church. How can thes peopl spread lies and falsify Turkish history. There is no country called Turkey on any world historic maps. They were Turkish sleaking Sekike tribes from the East and .ongols from the Far east.
@@nabazf8891- Stealing other nations lands and studying the falsified history of your country is racism. Do not play that old trick of insecure people. You were fooled about your history, not me. The West encouraged you to believe your falsified. Do you know what a library is? Pls. go to one and check the old world maps of the world no Turkey, no Azerbaijan. One of Armenia's old capital cities on Eastern Turkey is Ani, more than 1000 years old and a marvel of Armenian architects, even after Turkey letting it go to ruins to erase Armenian history. It was also known as city of 1001 churches. Istanbul was Constantinople, Izmir was Smyrna, Agri Dag(I) mountains were Mount Ararat (Masis) and so on. About 3,800 historic sites in Turkey are Armenian, 3,400 Greek, 600 Jewish and Assyrian and 700 Turkish. Ask President. Erdogan why Turkiye celebrated its 569th Anniversary in May 2022. Greece is still there, Armenia is still there by avoiding to mention their names you cannot change history. When you go to Mexico they do not call Mayan and Aztec historic sites Mexican history built by Mexicans. They say They are built by Aztecs and Mayans..In Great Britain, they will tell you the old Roman wall was built by Romans, not English and the belong to old Roman history.
0:50 I think you guys are from Australia and pretty well know what a typical desert looks like. So I don't understand what impression made you think that the area is a desert. I think you tried to say 'deserted', am I right?
@@fatihyavuz2246 if you see there one native Turk who isn’t a tourist call me please but it is very rare and, most Arabs are new and refugees the only natives there are Kurds and syriacs
