Our FIRST DAY in Jakarta! (we did not expect this) 🇮🇩 

We were recently in Jakarta as well and loved the city (although it went a bit differently than planned 😅). Great video, BTW! We just subscribed. 🥰

Visit Thousand Islands, the nature tourism in Jakarta with a group of beautiful islands and beaches, Payung Island like Maldives in Jakarta,, Macan Island, Onrust and others. You can also diving to see the beauty of the underwater world. For modern and fancy areas, visit SCBD, Ashta Mall District, Sarinah Mall, GBK City Forest, Urban Forest Cafe, Blok M, PIK in North Jakarta, there is a new city with a beach vibes. you can see beautiful Chinatown, Batavia Cove, Aloha white sand beach. And don't forget visit Taman Mini Indonesia Indah ( TMII) in East Jakarta, You can see a miniature of Indonesia, which has various tribes, cultures and religions..

I think you will see the difference after going to SCBD, it's not as noisy 😅

yooo bro... the Thamrin Fountain (near the national monument) area is not quite the main/central area of Jakarta, so that's why it's not like super "wow" you know. It,s literally only 1.5 km away from that fountain to Bundaran HI which is like the main fountain that have a pretty cool water feature with Selamat Datang Monument (Welcome Monument), which is like the super super central area of Jakarta. too bad that you don't have a chance to show it on camera. Love your video alot guys! Can't wait for the next one :)

Hi Dan. I see that you love looking around.. Welcome to Jakarta. Hope you enjoy your stay here. Anyway, if you want to find a good food, there are couple places to go. First, PIK area. Their main road are full of restaurants. But PIK area mostly are foreign restaurant, like korean, japanese, and chinese. But if you go to PIK2 area, there are good seafood restaurant there, serving fresh seafood. And fresh in Indonesia, means... live. They live until you pick them. You'll also find a lot of local fusion cuisines that are influenced by chinese. Well, it is in chinatown. So, the name says it all. Second, Kelapa Gading Area. This is also a good area, but these are mostly Indonesian food. There are Manado restaurant, noodles, Balinese, Makassar, Padang, and many other tribes open their restaurant here. Their main road is also full of food from corner to corner. There is also a road called Kelapa Kopyor that is well known as the noodle road. All noodle shop in town has their branch there, from chicken, crab, to pork. Soto Betawi here is also very good. So, if you want Indonesian food, Kelapa Gading is the way to go. I hunt good food for hbby. And in Jakarta, you can find all kind of food here from those tribes. Indonesia is akin to Europe, where all European countries are akin to Indonesian provinces. So, like every countries in europe has their dishes, so does every province in Indonesia. And since Jakarta is where most tribes meet, then most of them have their respective dishes in Jakarta. So, if you love culinary adventure, you'll find hundreds kind of dishes here that could last your lifetime. A few that you should try, are Fish Head Curry at Medan Baru, then Soto Betawi Ny. Afung, pick the santan one. then seafood junction at Wiro Sableng Kelapa gading for their crab and prawn, then you can go to Seafood Sentosa at PIK for live seafood. You should also try Pagi Sore for Padang dishes, as their beef rendang is the best one in my opinion, along with their chicken. Ask for Ayam Pop. Then Sop Konro you can try their Kelapa Gading branch. For Manado cuisine, you should try Sarang Oci. It is also located at Kelapa gading area. I also recommend you to try Kwang Koan Coffee shop. Trust me, Indonesian coffee, are unlike any other coffee that you taste out there. Indonesian coffee are more like vietnamese. Black, thick, and strong. You definitely have to try them here. As for the other area, that depends on what you want to do. If want some clothes, I recommend you visit ITC Cempaka Putih or ITC Mangga Dua. When you go to ITC Mangge Dua, you can also visit their electronic area across ITC, called Mangga Dua Mall. Don't go to WTC or Mangga Dua Square. Those are dead malls. They are close each other though. For phones, you should visit Roxy Mas. If you love good malls, sight seeing, I recommend you to go to Thamrin at sunday to experience Car Free Day, then make your way to SCBD area. Then you can take rest at Pacific Mall. Zaman ahok sudah rapi yg jualan cuman makanan doang , sekarang sudah kaya pasar malam dan masjid istiqlal juga semakin kacau , buat apa dibangun tenda2 buat PKL kalo masih ada yang jualan di depan gerbang? Suck sekali . Saya pernah berpendapat , mau disediakan tempat PKL ga menjamin kerapihan karena pasti datang lagi teman2ny PKL untuk jualan disana dan semakin banyak ibarat ada domba dimasukin kandang trus domba yang lain muncul lagi karena ada rumput yang enak untuk dimakan

Mau gimanapun jakarta masih terlihat berantakan karena2 orang2nya tidak disiplin
