Today we explore modern Jakarta. Our first stop is the infamous SCBD area, the Sudirman Central Business District. We start off by visiting Pacific Place Mall, which is one of Jakarta's most impressive, modern malls. We then explore some of the luxury cuisine and finish off with our first-ever MRT ride here in Indonesia.

MRT & LRT actually quite new in Jakarta, there are another options to travel within the city, people mainly use KRL commuter line, or Trans Jakarta…

If you go to Indonesian miniature or heritage culture of indonesia or TMII .you can take the LRT train and get off at TMII station, there you can take a free shuttle bus and only pay an entrance ticket of around Rp. 20,000 per person

You need atleast a week or 2 , too capture the feel of jakarta n surrounding in whole..mall tourism is one thing to do..but to make it more fun , when u go to upper class mall , try searching employee foodcourt..that like searching employee canteen in changi airport.. try in mall like grand indonesia pondok indah mall, senayan city, etc.. you can buy $1000 shirt above then eat $1 fulfilling food😊

Awesome. I've been to Jakarta 3 times. I'll say the area around Monas/Cathedral/Masjid was awesome and so was SCBD too. Regatta was nice and Ancol Beach area was OK to walk too. I agree that we say Underground in the UK while it is called MRT (Metro) in many countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore etc

I think part of the reason of why we're not calling it underground is because the MRT is in fact not entirely underground. Half of its route are elevated

@@sabrinamaharani8155 Even in London, some of the Undergrounds especially in further zones are in open air. It is mainly Zones 1,2 and 3 is underground for London

If you strolling around Thamrin street, i suggest you stop by Sarinah Plaza where you can find a lot of local Indonesian style stuff ranging from shirt to accessories you can buy as souvenir

Jakarta MRT (subway) phase 2 is under construction. Unlike phase 1, phase 2 will be completely underground.

4:01 majority of Indonesians LOVES drinking coffee regardless of the time (I KNOW IT'S CRAZY but yes, even during midnight), coffee shops is a big business not only it's a 'food-chain' type of business but also in big cities like jakarta, bali, surabaya where you would find lots of expats, young people working, university students spending their time in coffee shops, some can even comes with gym, swimming pool, pilates, (an actual) working space, mini library (this is mainly in bali and jakarta at least the one that i've heard and i know). I personally don't like caffeine but me and my friends would spend hours at local cafes just to chit-chat beacuse the price is affordable and the vibe is really suitable for reunion or just to hang out :D, oh and also you can find world most expensive coffee here in Indonesia

Jakarta, paradise for shopping and gastronomy lovers. Local, Indian, Mexican, Morocco, Asia, Europe, Africa and many more. Just say and explore. All restaurants are available, street food with thousand menu's, from the exotic to the weird. Jakarta has over 200 malls. Jakarta as the city's beauty and the beast. The Jakarta vibe from bad smell to good smell, from cheap to very expensive. From the worst to the luxurious. Jakarta is like a merry go round. Always very attractive and never sleep city. You will be missing Jakarta after leaving the city.

Indonesia is a country of 1,340 ethnicities and 700 languages that scattered across the vast 18,000 islands. We're basically like European Union but with Egypt Turkey and Morocco as its member because Indonesia is country with thousands looks. You can't define what's an 'Indonesian look', even our language is a madeup language mainly based on Riau Malay but it's a mix of Javanese, Malay, Arabic, Sundanese, Dutch, Chinese, Banjarese, Buginese, etc so that the official language doesn't favour only one ethnicity or language. Never said you have experience Indonesia if you only go to Java and Bali. (I live in Borneo island which is the 3rd biggest island in the world).

If you visit Indonesia, you must go to Cirebon City, West Java, especially Ciledug District, East Cireon. There you will find interesting things from entertainment. The food is really good.

Mantabbb...btw beside pasific mall there's a asta mall gut place n gut view...and accros pasifil place there's a Snayan Park, bigg, good green place, and near that u cam visit mall Plaza Senayan, senayan city and snayan park mall (the best view for looks jakarta..).. Also u can visit GBK and Basketball stadium (bigest stadium) because still one area in senayan If ur lucky u can visit JCC senayan theusually there's exebithion of 'everything' about Indonesia or International Just suggest if u want more get suscriber, u must more interactive/say hello with everyone..dont b shy n scare, couze indonesian people's very kind,calm,smile n humble..u can get friend in one minute in indonesia 😁✌️ Tetap semangatt 😁✌️

if you go to lembang (west java) spend for 2-3 day stay at ciater lembang and you can swim at spring water/hotvwater sources from mt. tangupan perahu. two thumbs up
