Warms my heart to see Wode Maya recognized here in the U.S. There are many of us who tune into both of your channels and appreciate the work that you do. Also, just FYI for anyone reading this, yes there is chaos in Haiti right now, but ONLY in Port Au Prince. Haiti is broken down in to 10 different departments and Port Au Prince is only one. The other 9 departments are carrying on with life as usual (working, going to school, dining out, shopping, enjoying time with family/friends, etc.). I learned this from watching Rutty B's channel here on RU-vid where she vlogs about her rather comfortable life living in Haiti.

Love you guys! Put your tea bag in the top of the coffee maker where the coffee goes, and pour water in the area for water and you will have tea drip in your cup. Those coffee makers are designed for more than coffee.

I feel the same way about not seeing a kettle in a hotel room. Truth is I travel with a kettle when possible. I found a small electric kettle tht can fit in my handbag/tote to travel with.

Hi Maya and Trudy Watching from the US. So almost all the hotels and air bnbs don't have kettles. Actually i have never seen one yet. However, your coffee machine in your room is your Kettle and this is how to use it. fill the machine up with your water, and then pretend you are making coffee, but DO NOT insert the coffee bag/cup into the coffee holder, then your hot water will drip into your mug. Or you can ask the office and they can provide you with hot water. Enjoy your stay.

Hi Trudy 😊 nice video I enjoyed it very much. I'm a tea drinker to don't like coffee but I was thinking, you can boil a mug of water in the microwave and make your tea and its faster than boiling water in a pot on the stove 😊 safe travels I will be watching 😄

Desperate times calls for desperate measures so you improvise you rinse one of the pots in the cupboard boil the water and make yourself a cup of tea you just need hot water. I've been in a hotel in France and someone had a heating device you plugged in the sockets and made tea in a cup it boiled I was amazed 😊 there's even ways to make a cup of tea in a forest Lol loving the video in Miami you guys. The price of Hotel sounds too much maybe since it caters for 4 persons Or family oh well. So you've been 10 times hubby first time great!!! I first stumbled on your videos when you were in USA . Yes if you come to New Jersey, specifically the northern part of the state, you will find foods from around the world in one town such as Montclair, NJ. By the way, it is so beautiful to see an African woman rocking her natural hair. Hope you all enjoy, so many of us are considering becoming expats and moving to warmer climates where the people and the weather are warmer. I've been to Senegal and there is something about being in a space with others who look like you and culture mirrors your own.

Hey guys. Glad to see you guys enjoying Miami Beach area or Downtown Miami. Want to let you know that mostly Spanish speaking people are in that part of Florida and specifically Miami. But if you go to Ft. Lauderdale about half an hour drive away it is overwhelmingly Black people with many West Indians and Jamaicans of course. By the way, you could have gone to Starbucks in Kingston's Sovreign Mall, MoBay or even Ocho Rios. They have it there. Your room in that area of Miami was very good price. Mostly you would find prices for that kind of place a lot more expensive. Have fun in Florida and be safe guys.
