We have been patiently waiting for our CHICKENS to lay their FIRST EGGS! This Video is a VLOG of the Glorious day we found not 1 but 2 eggs in the coop + We finish off the video discussing what came first ....the chicken or the egg?????
You are so correct. There is no such thing as evolution and yes the chicken came first. Please keep sharing your faith. We mist share as much as we can ❤❤
Love this channel! You guys are literally living my dream. I have been waiting for a good homesteading channel from Australia. Love that you are sharing your faith too!
@@rebeccawithers6573 right! I wanted to find some good family homestead channels but Australia doesn’t have many?! Hopefully we can grow and be Australia’s big channel haha!! Thanks for the love x
So excited to find another young Aussie, Christian family working towards a homestead! We’re in QLD on a 600m2 block, but have built a veggie garden (and flower garden), have a worm farm, and are hopefully getting chickens in spring! Maybe one day we’ll be blessed with some more land 🙂 I look forward to following your journey! God bless 🥰
Just found your channel. Congratulations to you both for being smart cookies!! I agree with everything you are doing and here am I in my late fifties and have recently got chickens. I have a veggie garden and collect rainwater. Good on you for wanting to be out of the corrupt system. Blessings to you and your family. Wishing you great success in your endeavours ❤
@@waywardangel6356 mine too! Been having poached eggs A LOT lately haha! Thanks heaps we appreciate you and your great support for our channel ❤️ see you in the next video !!! (He loves his eggs 😋)
@@reneezacharias3284 thank you! Yes some people mentioned that to me and I noticed that as each comb changed they all started laying!! Been great so far 🙌🏼 thanks for the comment !
Yeah! Listen for their egg song and you will know they just layed. You can tell which is egg belongs to who too, each lady has her own shape and colour vsry consistently.
Haha 😂 I remember checking every single day! It’s so exciting!! Yes when the wattle and comb are red and not pink and when you scratch them on their back they bob down and squat ready to be “mounted” by the rooster. Then they are close! May you have many eggs to come!
I’ve very quickly grown to love you guys and judging by your growth in followers I’m not the only one! But… I have some questions I will need answered 😂😂😂😂 1. Why do you call your son Binno? 2. What do you guys do for work to be able to travel ( I know your back now but you were travelling?) 3. …. Actually I only have those 2 questions 😂😂 for now
Haha we can’t believe how fast it has grown 🤯! If you don’t mind we will answer all …3 😂 of these questions on our Live on Thursday night 🙌🏼!!! Really appreciate the love from you and the support on our videos ❤️❤️
It’s possible to find solace in a higher power but also recognise evolution. I know it’s hard to grasp that god can nurture but evolution might be an enjoyable suprise for even god.
You are so right, the chicken did come first because God created them and all the other animals. I’m glad your chickens are laying well. We had 8 chickens and had so many eggs that I was taking them to school to sell to my friends. Other teachers would bid on them to try to get fresh eggs. I had a wonderful recipe for an impossible pie that I would make regularly and put vegetables from my garden into it, like quiche. Then I would serve it with a side salad from the garden. I miss my chickens and the fresh eggs. 😊😊
@@cherylemaybury9967 amen! Thank you! Aw 8 chickens would be heaps of eggs!! I reckon we will be making some pies like yours when we have that many chickens haha! Appreciate your comments 🙌🏼
@@anaschilling2668 unless you have a lot they don’t really save you any money…..but they are a bit of fun in our opinion haha and good for the kids as well! We will get a lot more in the future!
You should get an egg a day for the next 18 months then they will begin to slow down a bit, I rotate my chooks every 3 years otherwise you end up just feeding unproductive chicken, my chickens are not pets they are chickens who give me eggs
I enjoyed watching your show until you started spouting religious dribble which is a shame. At the very least you should let people make up their own mind. Are the episodes out of order? You first showed the purchase of your block but all of a sudden you're in a house without any stories of the build, quite disappointing after your first episode and the promise of showing the audience your journey of building.
@@sigridrichards9098 Gday! I’m sorry that you didn’t enjoy this episode as much! The episodes are in order, we are currently living at Samantha’s house while we organise the house plans for our block 🙌🏼 We will have a more videos coming as we build the house and start homesteading on our own land, this is just what we’re doing until we have that organised 👍🏽 I know it’s a bit confusing after the first video I apologise about that! Hopefully things clear up and make more sense in the future episodes! Thanks for your comment and hope you stick around to watch build videos when they start 🙌🏼
Sigrid, you will find that as Christians we share our faith because it’s a vital part of who we are. We are blessed to live in a country where we can share who we are and what we believe. To you it may be religious dribble. Likewise atheism baffles Christians. But we can coexist respectfully even with our different worldviews. I don’t see how Tom and Sam aren’t letting people make up their own minds. They’re just sharing their lives and obviously their Christian faith is an important part of who they are.
