@@surthng lol sorry, I’ll try again. Sorcery plays similarly to how magic originally was in lore. You and your opponent have an avatar on opposite ends of a 5x4 empty board. You tap your avatar to play sites which make up the battle field. Sites grant mana, and most also grant threshold (the triangles which correspond to the 4 elements using alchemical notation). Threshold is not consumed when casting spells. You have separate decks for spells and sites and can choose which you draw from each turn. You start with 3 cards from each. Your creatures can deal damage to the opponent by attacking their sites, and their creatures can defend etc. when you lose all of your life you become at deaths door which makes your avatar invincible for the remainder of the turn. the final blow must be to the avatar directly. Each avatar typically has 20 life.

I have seen two curio's pulled on other streams and they were NOT in the first 5 card sequence like the uniques and the foils.

Gilded are in the ordinary slot a few in. At least that's what happened in my and a RU-vidr box. ❤

How exactly did you come to that? The art is terrible, expected, found in a farm house wall of pics and game looks so bored. How does this embarrass other tags?

@@surthng The artwork is all hand painted by well known artists. The game has a tactical element that separates it from everything. It’s colloquially worded too, which harkens back to a time period that requires you to use imagination. It’s just a masterclass in everything.

@IanM92 well I haven't researched enought but I would disagree with probably everything you said at this point. There is no wow factor to it that I can see. It's likely another failed tcg but will find out soon enough

@@surthng If you have done no research on it then why are you speaking like you have experience? This is an independent TCG based on old school gaming and high fantasy. It’s not aiming to be some hyper competitive, marketable product. And what exactly is a wow factor and what do you disagree with?

@IanM92 Man, it's new so research is the same as any tcg following. Sooo, It's not aiming to be big, competitive, marketable then it's not going anywhere. You really think a company invests money to not be profitable? We can keep talking about it but this fails quick imo. There is nothing special about it. Wow art work from painters... confusing game play... sorry it's a loss but invest to start I could be wrong

The video doesn't do the arts justice. Both of those arts you mentioned are done by Melissa Benson and when seen in person I think most will disagree with you.

They did a good job of not making it all King Arthur and the round table. The new set meshes well with the Alpha beta set. You will find that the creator thinks about everything. He is a huge magic fan and I believe I read he worked on the original Path to Exile game. The creator has balanced collecting and playability.

@@johneicher7914 sorry but you are a bit delusional if you think sorcery is currently anything but all collector's. No one is playing the game because the cards are not easily accessible nor has alpha/beta been affordable.
