Jefeeee you need to do the Retro Madden challenge, you can only have 12 players with star development, you can only have picks for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd round, and you need to sim the Defense (optional), and you need 4 seasons to make the superbowl with a team that you would get if it was retro bowl (Houston, atlanta, Tennessee, etc), also the 4 seasons start to count staring from the end of the first season (like in retro bowl)
